Itinerary
- Day 1
Calgary
You'll arrive in Calgary and head to your hotel via transfer (pickups run every 2 hours from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM). The afternoon and evening are open for you to settle in or get out and see the city. If you arrive early enough, you can check out the Calgary City Tour, Heritage Park, CrossIron Mill for shopping, or the Calgary Zoo. Otherwise, just take time to get your bearings in Cowtown.

- Day 2
Lake Louise - Moraine Lake - Yoho - Spiral Tunnel - Emerald Lake - Natural Bridge
Start early heading toward the Canadian Rockies from Calgary. Lake Louise comes first, and you'll spend about 2 hours there with those turquoise waters and mountain views. Depending on conditions, either Moraine Lake or Vermillion Lake is next (roughly 1 hour). Then you'll drive through Yoho National Park, passing the Spiral Tunnel, and stop briefly at Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge to see how glacial melt shapes these landscapes. It's a scenic day of driving and shorter stops.

- Day 3
Bow Lake - Icefield Parkway - Columbia Icefield - Athabasca Falls - Jasper
Today follows the Icefield Parkway, a 232km route through the heart of the Rockies. You'll pull over at Bow Lake for 20 minutes to see where the Bow River starts. The big stop is Columbia Icefield, where you can spend 3.5 hours and optionally ride the Ice Explorer across the Athabasca Glacier or walk the Glacier Skywalk. After that, Athabasca Falls gets 30 minutes to see the water power from glacial melt. You'll wrap up in Jasper Town by evening.

- Day 4
Jasper - Maligne Lake - Maligne Canyon - Medicine Lake - Peyto Lake - Crowfoot Glacier
You'll explore more of Jasper National Park today, starting with Maligne Lake (about 1 hour 40 minutes to reach it), the largest lake in the Canadian Rockies, and there's an optional boat tour if you want. Maligne Canyon comes next at 30 minutes, carved through limestone that was once an ancient sea. Medicine Lake is a quick stop to see this unusual sinking river. Then Peyto Lake and Crowfoot Glacier, each taking 15 to 20 minutes. The glacier especially shows the effects of climate change over the years.

- Day 5
Banff - Johnston Canyon - Bow Falls - Surprise Corner - Hoodoos - Banff Town - Calgary
Banff National Park is your destination, and there's a lot to do here. You can ride the Banff Sulphur Mountain Gondola for an hour and a half to get high views of the Rockies. Johnston Canyon is a 1 hour hike with waterfalls and narrow gorges. Then check out Bow Falls, Surprise Corner for views of the iconic Banff Springs Hotel, and the Hoodoos rock formations. All these stops are short, 15 to 20 minutes each. Spend about 1.5 hours in Banff Town for lunch and shopping before heading to Calgary Airport, arriving around 7:30 PM.
