Rovaniemi
You'll arrive in Rovaniemi and head straight to your hotel downtown. The rest of the day is yours to wander around the city however you'd like. If your flight gets in early, grab a taxi over to Santa Claus Village for a self-guided look around. By evening, head back to the hotel for a festive Christmas buffet dinner.

- Day 2
Rovaniemi
A short drive takes you out to a husky kennel where they'll teach you how to handle the sleds. Then you'll guide your own sled dog team through the snowy wilderness on the husky safari, getting a feel for how mushers work with their dogs. After you return to the kennel, you'll have hot berry juice by an open fire and talk with the musher about these northern animals. That evening, another festive Christmas buffet dinner waits at your hotel.

Rovaniemi
You'll drive out to a Lappish reindeer farm for a traditional sleigh ride through snowy forests. Along the way, learn about reindeer and how the herders work with them. Around a campfire, you'll have hot berry juice and a snack. If the conditions cooperate and the sky clears, you might catch the Northern Lights dancing overhead.

Rovaniemi
Check out before noon. If your flight time allows, stop by the Arktikum Museum to look through exhibitions on Arctic culture, Lapland's history, and how people live in the North. After that, head to the airport for your onward journey.
