  The itinerary and the tour guides were great. The hotels were good value. The black mark on the trip was Europamundo got our arrival wrong and we were not met at the airport until about an hour after we arrived. Someone at europamundo found the error and hastily arranged a private contractor to take us to the hotel. There was no information or contact at the hotel until we phoned the emergency line and we were told that the bus was running late. These are small things that happen sometimes though and I would be happy to tour with europamundo in the future. Show more

  Great value! Good, clean hotels. 1 was centrally located and 1 was a bit further from city central but the provided transport to and from. Had good tour guides who spoke good English and very knowledgeable and helpful. Can see how the further away hotel and if you don’t get the best tour guide for your language could be less great but overall would recommend. For accommodations, transport, 2 boat tours and 1 bus tour and 1 walking tour it was great!Show more

  Overall, this was a good trip. To the positives: the tour guides and the local guides were good, the stops (destination cities and in-between stops) were excellent (we enjoyed these stops as much as our final destinations), and the option of where to start and finish the tour is a brilliant business model. The busses we rode in were also nice. The hotels were good, not great. Negatives: the New Year was a huge disappointment. We were in Florence. I understand the city is expensive and hotels must have been busy, but that night we stayed in the worst hotel of the whole tour--and the furthest from downtown. As a result, we stayed in the hotel, had an expensive but mediocre dinner, and heard the fireworks from a distance from our small, unappealing, and ill furnished hotel room.Show more

  The tour was very good. Previous reviews had told us to expect a lot of free time so knowing that we spent some time researching what we wanted to do at each destination. The hotels, food and transport was all very good as was our tour guide. A good tour for anyone that wants the ease of a tour but time to do their own activities if wanting to.Show more
