- Day 1
Madrid
You'll arrive in Madrid and get transferred to your hotel, giving yourself time to settle in before the evening welcome meeting. Later on, head over to Plaza Mayor and La Latina where you can wander around and pick from restaurants serving Spanish, Indian, Chinese, or Middle Eastern food.

- Day 2
Madrid
Start with a guided tour through central Madrid, hitting Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de Colón, and Plaza Mayor. From there you'll go to Retiro Park to see the lake and Palacio de Cristal. Santiago Bernabéu Stadium is included in the tour. The afternoon is yours to do as you like before heading back to the hotel.

Leave Madrid early in the morning and drive through Castile to Zaragoza to see the Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar. After that, continue to Poblet Abbey, a well-preserved medieval monastery where admission is included. Then it's on to Barcelona, arriving in the evening.

- Day 4
Barcelona
Your morning includes a panoramic tour of Barcelona showing Gaudí and modernist architecture, the Ramblas, and sights from the World Expositions and Olympic Games. The tour finishes at Maremagnum, a modern leisure and dining complex by the waterfront at Columbus Square. You'll have the afternoon free to check out the city on your own.

- Day 5
Barcelona to Paris
Head to the station for your included high-speed train from Barcelona to Paris, which takes just over 6 hours. Once you arrive, you'll transfer to your hotel. Your guide will reach out in the evening or you can check information at the hotel reception desk.

Paris

Paris

- Day 8
Paris - Beaune - Lyon
Travel through Bourgogne, famous for its vineyards and wine production. You'll stop in Beaune, a charming town with flower-lined streets, to walk around and grab lunch. Then continue to Lyon, the old Roman Gaul capital on the Rhône River. Take a cable car up to Notre-Dame de Fourvière for great city views and have free time to explore. Note: Some groups stay in Chambéry instead and visit the medieval city in the morning.

- Day 9
Lyon - Geneva - Zurich
Head into Switzerland and reach Geneva to see the Palace of Nations, the English Garden with its famous flower clock, and the Jet d'Eau fountain, Europe's tallest. After lunch, drive through scenic Swiss routes along Lake Geneva and Lake Neuchâtel, passing through the Three Lakes region with vineyards backed by mountains. Stop in Neuchâtel for a walk by the lake, explore the historic center, or check out the 10th-century castle. You'll arrive in Zurich late afternoon. Note: Depending on group size, the Geneva to Zurich part might be by train with no Neuchâtel stop.

Zurich
Your guide shows you around Zurich, Switzerland's biggest city and financial and cultural center. You'll take a scenic cruise on Lake Zurich for nearly two hours with brief stops at charming villages. Then you'll get off in Rapperswil, a beautiful village with a medieval castle, and return to Zurich by train to see Swiss rail efficiency firsthand.

See the Interlaken region with its tall mountains and pristine lakes. Stop in Grindelwald for coffee before taking a cable car up the mountain. Walk along a winding path to a suspended bridge with glacier views if you're up for it. Lunch on the mountain is included before you head back down. Later, visit Lucerne, one of Switzerland's most beautiful cities, with time to explore. You'll return to Zurich by evening. An optional full-day excursion is available to take a rotating cable car to Mount Titlis summit above 3,000 meters for alpine views.

Leave Zurich early and cross the Alps to reach the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland. Stop in Bellinzona to see three medieval UNESCO castles on hills overlooking the city and wander the charming streets. Continue to Como, the jewel of Lombardy, known for beautiful lakeside gardens and a spectacular cathedral, where you'll have time for lunch. Head to Milan where your guide takes you to Piazza del Duomo before transferring to your hotel.

Travel to Pisa and ride a small tourist train to Piazza dei Miracoli where you can see one of Italy's most beautiful art complexes, including the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. Then continue to Rome, arriving later in the day.

Rome
Spend the morning on a three-hour guided tour combining walking through Imperial Rome with a panoramic bus ride. You'll see the Arch of Constantine, the Colosseum exterior, Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Basilica of Saint Mary Major, Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant'Angelo. The tour finishes at Vatican City around 11:00 a.m. with an optional Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel visit. In the evening, transfer to Trastevere, a neighborhood with cozy restaurants and lively atmosphere, returning to your hotel around 8:30 p.m.

Spend the afternoon exploring on your own. Evening has many restaurant options with various international cuisines.

Leave Venice heading toward Austria. When you arrive in Innsbruck, take time to walk through the historic city center and have lunch in this Austrian Tyrolean capital. Drive along scenic mountain roads to Kitzbuehel, a beautiful village known as a ski resort. Explore the village and then continue to Salzburg, arriving by the end of the day. Note: If the group is small, the Venice to Innsbruck journey might be by train.
