When in Cardiff, is there free time to tour the Cardiff stadium, home of Cardiff FC football team?

You will visit Cardiff as part of the itinerary, but the free time is short and not guaranteed to cover a stadium visit. The tour's structured schedule makes it unlikely you'll have enough time for a stadium visit while with the group. In case, you may coordinate it with the travel director. For this personal sightseeing, you would likely need to arrange it independently before/after the tour.

I have few queries and request your help here: 1) My return ticket to India is already booked for the 1st of Jan 2026 and I do not wish to change that and hence is it possible for me to return to London by missing the last day of the Tour.

To ensure you reach Heathrow on time, you can leave the tour early on the morning of January 1. We recommend arranging your own transportation from York to London Heathrow, either by train or private transfer, ideally departing early morning to allow sufficient time for airport check-in and security. Please keep in mind that any missed portion of the tour will not be deducted from the trip rate as this is a package tour.

Trafalgar can't guarantee luggage storage at the Hilton London Kensington while you're away on tour, as this is at the discretion of the hotel. We recommend contacting the Hilton London Kensington directly to confirm if they can store your two suitcases during your trip, as policies and any applicable fees can vary. For this tour, each guest may bring one suitcase with maximum dimensions of 30" x 18" x 10" (76 x 46 x 25 cm) and a weight limit of 50 lbs (23 kg). In addition, one carry-on or hand luggage is allowed per person, not exceeding 12" x 11" x 6" (30 x 28 x 14 cm) and 15.4 lbs (7 kg). Carry-on items must fit under the coach seat or in the small overhead compartment and must be handled on and off the coach by the guest.

when I check availability it just shows september dates (flashing) and no october dates...are the flashing dates unavailable.....and does this tour not run in october?

What is the rate if it is a room with one double bed?

The total expense for the pre-hotel stay in a twin room is $434.00, and the cost for the post-hotel stay in a twin room is also $434.00. Therefore, the combined total for both stays is $868.00.

Can I book additional hotel nights through the tour operator?

Yes, you can usually book additional nights through the operator, but availability may be limited so try to book as soon as possible.

Are the arrival and departure airport transfers included? What time is the tour program start on Mar 29 and end on April 6?

Airport transfers are not included in the tour price. We can only offer chargeable transfers from/to London Heathrow Airport (LHR) or London Gatwick Airport (LGW). The tour will officially start on Day 3 which will depart London hotel at approximately 7:45am. Included breakfast on April 06, 2025, you can leave the tour or the hotel after breakfast, so departure time is flexible.

Would it be possible to go to Conwy instead of Liverpool on this tour?

We don't offer customized trips, but we have a comparable option through our sister brand, Insight Vacations. They offer a 15-day tour called 'British Gardens and the Chelsea Flower Show' which includes Conwy.

Can this be accomodated on this tour?

Wheelchairs and walkers both need to be fully collapsible and non-motorized. Some lightweight motorized scooters may be accepted provided they meet other criteria - they need to be collapsible and be able to be to be assembled and disassembled within 5 minutes. The guest/traveler or their travelling companion must be prepared to load/unload the scooter from under the coach and assemble the scooter each time it is needed. Maximum weight allowance for wheelchairs/motorized scooters is 32.5kg

Is that correct that we actually do 'visit' Stonehenge?

Vanessa was a fantastic guide and Justin was just the best coach driver. Porterage was so unexpected and so so fantastic. We loved it. The hotels were good and had all amenities but maybe a notch higher quality with even a higher price on tour would have been ok for us as a family. Novotel was the best stop on the hotels. Holiday Inn Edinburgh was way off shoot to do things in the city. All in all a fantastic tour. We highly recommend it and did so to many. Kudos on all the effortShow more
