Prague

Prague - Munich - Innsbruck
Leave early heading toward Bavaria, and you'll pull into Munich around midday. Spend time walking through the historic city center and grab lunch somewhere. Later, continue on to Innsbruck in the Austrian Alps. Check out the Golden Roof area and Old Town before settling in for dinner.

Visit the Swarovski Museum and wander through its gardens while learning about crystal creation. By evening, you're in Zurich's historic center by the lake with several dinner options.

Head out through mountain and lake scenery toward Grindelwald with a coffee stop along the way. Take a cable car up the mountain and walk along a winding path that leads to a suspended bridge with glacier views. Have lunch up there, then travel to Lucerne for the afternoon to explore the charming streets before heading back to Zurich.

Cross the Alps early heading into the Italian-speaking Swiss region. Stop in Bellinzona to see three UNESCO-listed medieval castles and walk around the charming center. From there, drive to Como for lunch by the lake, visit the beautiful gardens and cathedral, then continue to Milan where you'll see the impressive Piazza del Duomo.

Travel to Pisa and ride a small tourist train out to Piazza dei Miracoli. Spend time looking at the famous Leaning Tower and the rest of the art complex around it. Later, continue on to Rome where you'll arrive later in the day, giving you time to settle in.

Rome
Start your morning with a three-hour guided tour combining walking through Imperial Rome and a bus ride covering major landmarks. You'll see the Arch of Constantine, Colosseum exterior, Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Basilica of Saint Mary Major, Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant'Angelo. The tour ends at Vatican City around 11:00 a.m. By evening, head to the lively Trastevere neighborhood for dinner, returning to your hotel around 8:30 p.m.
