The time spent in the cities will be on our own -- self guided... is there any way you can assist us? STARTING FROM MILAN Feb. 9, IF POSSIBLE, we'd like to visit: Florence Venice Verona. We want to travel by train to the cities and spend a few days each and finally END IN ROME – or other city with a major airport -- flying out FEBRUARY 15 or 16 – we don't have tickets back. We have spent time in Rome before so don't need to spend more than a day/overnight there.

Unfortunately, we are not able to assist with this type of fully customized, city-to-city independent itinerary that includes arranging individual hotels, B&Bs, and multiple train tickets for a self-guided trip. Our services are focused on organizing structured tours with fixed itineraries, and we do not have the ability to manage this level of custom planning for individual cities.

Will arrive in Rome the day before. Can you confirm Hotel St. Martin will be the tour's hotel in Rome, or advise the cost if you book the extra night?

Do you offer Mama Mia tour option that runs in reverse (Venice > Rome)?

Unfortunately it is only one direction as it is a group tour. Usually most of our tours start in Rome.

Could you clarify if there is a guide available in Spanish for the tour?

We have different buses dedicated to English and Spanish speaking customers. The guide will be Spanish-speaking. The inclusions mention English guide to avoid confusion for USA customers, but a dedicated Spanish guide will be available in the bus.

Can I join the optional tours? What is the additional cost?

The optional Colosseum tour costs 85 USD per person and can be arranged during your trip.

How does the meal plan work for the included meals?

Most dinners are at hotels, except one in Sorrento requiring formal attire. Meals not covered will be specified in your trip document.

What happens if I arrive a day early? Is airport transport covered?

If you arrive early, we can amend your airport transfer and help arrange your hotel accommodations.

Is there transportation between cities? How does it work?

You'll be traveling in a deluxe bus led by a tour guide, with a group size ranging from 18 to 30 people depending on the season.

Are tips included for the tour director and driver?

No, tipping is not included, and it's customary to tip separately for meals as well.

What type of transport will be used on this adventure and how will the travellers get around when visiting the attraction listed on the itinerary? How long is a walk on each day? Are Spanish-speaking tour guides provided with no extra fee?

Between the cities we will travel with a coach. You can expect about 1-2 miles of walking every day. Depending on how you prefer to spend your free times. We confirm that we can provide a spanish speaking guide with no extra fees.

At times people were going different places, and she had to take care of so many details. She was quite knowledgeable of all places visited. I hope she has paid what she is worth. The tour was good because of all the places visited. For me it was stressful at times, and I felt rushed at some of our stops. For example, the day we traveled from Rome to Venice was difficult because we had too little time at too many stops. At Assisi and Siena we had just enough time to walk up the hill to see the church and then it was time to get back to the bus. I think it would have been better to spend more time at these towns and bypass Bologna. The other criticism I have is that the final written itinerary was inconsistent with previous versions. Apparently I was sent an email that meet up time changed by 1/2 hour, instead of 3 now changed to 230pm. And to confirm I received email. Well I didn’t check my emails so I was not able to confirm. On my way to the collisium I got call from tour guide asking where I was. She insisted tour begins at 230. I told I am looking at itinerary she she NO señora. I arrived at collisium at 239, to no avail, I called tour guide she did not pick up. I think an important change in itinerary should have been a phone call or at least a follow up to email.
