Paris
You'll arrive in Paris and get transferred to your hotel, giving yourself time to unpack and get comfortable in your room. In the afternoon, stop by the information desk at hotel reception where they'll have details about the rest of your tour.

- Day 2
Paris
Start at the Palace of Versailles exploring its grand grounds and gardens, then head into Montmartre where artists and performers give the neighborhood its bohemian character. A local guide takes you on a tour of Paris's main avenues and well-known landmarks from a different perspective, and you'll return to your hotel by evening. If you're interested, there's an optional variety show you can catch.

- Day 3
Paris
Go up the Eiffel Tower and climb to the second floor for views across the city, followed by a relaxing cruise on the Seine River that lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes. After that, the rest of the afternoon and evening are yours to wander around Paris however you'd like.

- Day 4
Paris - Beaune - Lyon
Travel through Burgundy's wine country and stop in Beaune, a small town with flower-lined streets, a historic hospice, and a wine museum worth checking out. Later you'll continue to Lyon, sitting where the Rhone River flows, and take a cable car up to Notre-Dame de Fourviere for broad views across the city. You'll have free time after to explore on your own.

- Day 5
Lyon - Geneva - Zurich
Head into Switzerland, passing Geneva's Palace of Nations and walking through the English Garden where you'll see the famous flower clock and the Jet d'Eau fountain. From there, you'll drive through scenic regions alongside Lake Geneva and Lake Neuchatel, with views of vineyards and mountains throughout. The route stops in Neuchatel so you can walk along the lake and look at the medieval castle, then continues to Zurich where you'll arrive in the late afternoon.

- Day 6
Zurich
Spend the day in Zurich with a guide who'll show you Switzerland's largest city and its role as a financial and cultural center. Take a nearly two-hour boat tour on Lake Zurich with short stops at small villages, ending in Rapperswil, a medieval town on the lake's edge. Return to Zurich by train to experience the Swiss railway system firsthand.

Zurich - Grindelwald - Lucerne - Zurich
Head into the Alpine region around Interlaken, starting with coffee in Grindelwald. From there, ride a cable car up the mountain and walk along a winding path to a suspended bridge with glacier views that stretch for miles. Lunch happens on the mountain, then you'll travel to Lucerne, one of Switzerland's most beautiful cities where you can walk through its charming streets. You'll return to Zurich in the evening. There's also an optional full-day excursion available to Mount Titlis with its rotating cable car.
