Sydney
You'll arrive in Sydney and settle into your hotel. After getting cleaned up, at 6 pm you'll meet your tour leader and the rest of the group for a welcome briefing and group dinner to get things started.

Sydney to Newcastle
Head out to a wildlife park in the countryside where you can see kangaroos, koalas, emus and other native animals. Then you'll drive through the Hunter Valley wine region for wine, cheese and chocolate tasting. By evening you'll reach Newcastle for a quick orientation tour before checking into your accommodation.

- Day 3
Port Macquarie
Travel to Port Macquarie and spend time with volunteers at the Koala Hospital. You'll learn about their conservation work, treating injuries and rehabilitation efforts. Later in the day, take a walk along the foreshore where you might spot dolphins, then have a relaxed evening.

Byron Bay
Start with a First Nations cultural experience with the Gumbaynggirr people learning about their history and connection to Country. Later you'll head to Byron Bay and visit Cape Byron Lighthouse, Australia's most easterly point on the mainland. Keep an eye out for whales or dolphins depending on the season.

Noosa to Rainbow Beach
Cross into Queensland and explore Noosa National Park where wild koalas might appear. Walk along Hastings Street and check out Noosa Main Beach, then continue to Rainbow Beach where you'll stay for the next two nights.
