You'll arrive in Lima and get settled at your hotel. The city blends colonial architecture with modern buildings throughout, so there's plenty to take in just from your surroundings. Lima to Iquitos
An early flight takes you from Lima to Iquitos, situated right on the Peruvian Amazon. Once you board the Delfin III, a boutique vessel, you'll head into the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve. Your naturalist guides lead skiff boat explorations, rainforest walks, and kayak trips to see the rainforest's plants and animals up close.

Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve
The morning starts with a skiff exploration of the Yanallpa River guided by a naturalist. After lunch back on the ship, you'll have time to relax before paddling a two-person kayak through quiet waters to explore the rainforest. By evening, you head out on a night safari to look for bats, frogs, and caiman active after dark.

Pacaya River
You'll explore the Pacaya River by skiff and have the chance to swim in its waters. Keep watch for pink river dolphins moving through these waters as they hunt for food and play around the boat.

Yarapa River
Taking a skiff up the Yarapa River, you reach a small community built into the hillside. Walking through, you see homes, a school, and a church while learning how locals live and use rainforest resources. Later, you visit the Amazon Confluence where three rivers meet, then hike the Fundo Casual Jungle Trail through dry forest looking for anacondas, boas, tarantulas, and poison frogs.

Nauta to Iquitos to Lima
You disembark at Nauta and travel back to Iquitos. Before heading to the airport, there's time to visit the Tropical Amazon Aquarium with its collection of over 60 tropical fish species. After flying back to Lima, you have a choice between two restaurants for dinner this evening.

A panoramic city tour covers Lima's key sights including the Historic Centre listed as a World Heritage site, the Basilica and Convent of San Agustín, and Plaza Mayor. The Larco Museum holds a guided tour of Peruvian artefacts, followed by lunch in gardens filled with bougainvillea. The rest of your afternoon is open for personal exploration.

Machu Picchu
A guided tour takes you through the ruins of Machu Picchu, the 15th-century Inca site recognized as one of the New Seven Wonders. Antarctic Peninsula
You arrive in Antarctica and the itinerary shifts based on ice and weather conditions determined by your Captain. Daily Zodiac excursions take you to penguin rookeries and seal colonies. You'll watch for orca, humpback, and minke whales. Deception Island, an active volcano with a former whaling station, can be explored. Port Lockroy scientific base is also possible to visit, where you can send a postcard with a rare Antarctic stamp.
