Dear Coleen, First of all, we are truly sorry that you were unable to come to Morocco due to the cancellation and delays of your flight. Because you ultimately did not join the tour, you unfortunately did not have the opportunity to experience the journey itself and share feedback based on the actual tour. Regarding the airport transfer and accommodation, as clearly stated in the tour details, the airport pickup and hotel stay are included only on the official starting day of the tour. If a traveler arrives one day earlier, the transfer and accommodation for that extra night are not included in the package. Four days before the tour start date, we sent you the final tour information, including the list of hotels and our emergency contact numbers. While email responses may sometimes be delayed outside office hours, our emergency phone numbers are available 24/7 specifically to assist travelers in urgent situations. We were also in contact with you while you were at the airport and asked you to provide an update with your new flight number. After that message, we were informed that your flight had been canceled again, and unfortunately we did not receive any further updates from you. We were not even certain whether you eventually arrived in Morocco or not. Despite this, the driver still sent you a message confirming the pickup time for the start of the tour. Given these circumstances, we do not believe the situation was the responsibility of our company. The disruption unfortunately resulted from the airline cancellations, which were completely outside of our control. We sincerely regret that your travel plans did not work out and we would have truly loved the opportunity to welcome you to Morocco and provide you with the experience that many of our travelers enjoy. Kind regards, Morocco Tours Team

Dear Therese, Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed and honest review of your experience. We truly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve our services and also clarify important points for future travelers. First of all, we are very pleased to hear that you enjoyed Morocco, its people, and the food, and that you found our driver to be professional, courteous, and reliable. We will certainly pass on your kind words to him. Regarding the accommodation:We are sorry to hear that one of the rooms did not meet your expectations. As you correctly noted, the issue may have been related to the specific room location, since the other traveler did not experience problems with heating or Wi-Fi. Nonetheless, we understand how important comfort is, and we regret any inconvenience this caused. Concerning the single occupancy cost:We would like to clarify this important point. The total cost of the tour for one traveler is almost the same as for two travelers, because hotels in Morocco generally charge rooms based on double occupancy, not single use. When one person travels alone, they are effectively paying the cost of a room designed and priced for two people, in addition to private transportation, fuel, driver services, and logistics that do not decrease with fewer travelers. This is why we always recommend, when possible, traveling with a friend to reduce the per-person cost. Regarding the tour guide services:You are correct that this tour does not include a licensed tour guide accompanying you for the entire journey. The itinerary includes local certified guides in specific cities and historical sites, which is standard practice in Morocco and required by local regulations. The driver’s primary role is safe transportation and assistance; while knowledgeable, he is not licensed as a full-time guide. We acknowledge that the wording on TourRadar may have caused confusion, and we will work on clarifying this description to avoid misunderstandings. About the Hassan II Mosque visit on Day 1:Thank you for pointing this out. Depending on arrival times and mosque opening hours, it is sometimes not possible to visit the interior on the same day. We agree that this is a very special site, especially as it is one of the few mosques open to non-Muslims, and we regret that the timing did not allow for an interior visit in your case. Regarding Day 5 (Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Azrou):We apologize that the stop at the Cedar Forest and Azrou village did not take place. This can occasionally happen due to time constraints, weather conditions, or road considerations, but we understand that this should have been clearly explained during the tour. Your feedback has been noted so we can ensure better communication in the future. Once again, thank you for your constructive comments. We genuinely value your feedback and hope that, despite these issues, you will keep positive memories of Morocco and your journey with us. Kind regards, Ali

Dear Jacob, Thank you very much for sharing your thoughtful and well-balanced review of your tour in Morocco. We truly appreciate the time you took to highlight both the strengths of the trip and the areas where improvements are needed. We are pleased to hear that you found the tour to be a good introduction to Morocco and suitable for first-time visitors, and that you enjoyed the guided visits in Fes and Marrakesh. We are also delighted to know that Riad Gabsi du Dades stood out as the best accommodation of your journey—your positive feedback will certainly be shared with them. Regarding transportation, thank you for your comment. We acknowledge that traveling with five guests, luggage, and a driver in a Toyota SUV can feel somewhat cramped, especially on a route that involves long driving distances. Your feedback helps us reassess vehicle allocation for future tours with similar group sizes. You are also absolutely correct regarding the guiding services. This tour includes local licensed guides at specific sites, not a full-time escorting tour guide throughout the entire journey. We appreciate you clearly pointing this out, as it helps set accurate expectations for future travelers. Concerning the accommodations in Chefchaouen and Marrakesh, we sincerely apologize for the discomfort you experienced. Issues such as lack of hot water, insufficient heating, and room odors do not meet the standards we aim to provide. While we are glad that a room change was possible in Marrakesh, we regret that it did not fully resolve the issue. Your comments have been carefully noted and shared with our accommodation partners for review and improvement. Overall, we are grateful for your recommendation of the tour for first-time visitors and for your constructive feedback, which is invaluable in helping us improve both communication and service quality. Thank you again for traveling with us. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to Morocco in the future for an even better experience. Kind regards,Ali

Dear Misha, Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and detailed review of your Morocco tour. We truly appreciate your kind words and are delighted to hear that you enjoyed discovering the diversity of Morocco’s landscapes—from cities and mountains to the desert. We are especially pleased to know that you felt comfortable with your driver, Abdoul. Your compliments regarding his kindness, professionalism, and quick assistance with changing accommodation will certainly be shared with him. We are also glad that your local guides in Volubilis and Fez, particularly Hamid, made those visits informative and enjoyable. It is wonderful to hear that you appreciated the itinerary, especially the stops on Day 7, as well as our team’s responsiveness and flexibility in adjusting plans, issuing refunds promptly, and accommodating changes due to weather and health conditions. Guest comfort and peace of mind are always our priority. Thank you as well for your honest comments regarding the accommodations. We acknowledge your feedback about the bathroom standards in Chefchaouen and Fez, and we will review this carefully with our partners. We are happy to hear that, despite this, you found the riad staff extremely hospitable and enjoyed the food. We sincerely regret that the Marrakech accommodation did not meet your expectations in terms of location, size, and overall quality. While we were happy to offer alternative options, we fully respect your decision to arrange accommodation independently. Despite this challenge, we are grateful that you still chose to rate the tour highly and that the kindness of the people you met and the beauty of Morocco left a positive overall impression. Thank you once again for traveling with Morocco Tours and for sharing your experience so openly. We wish you many more memorable journeys ahead and hope to welcome you back to Morocco one day. Dear Sarah, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback. We are delighted to hear that you had a great experience overall and that Zac provided you with excellent service. He will be very happy to know that his efforts and dedication made your journey more enjoyable. At the same time, we sincerely appreciate you highlighting the areas where we can improve. Your remarks about the lunch stops, the fast pace of the itinerary, and the long driving days are very valuable to us. We understand how important it is to have enough time to explore and enjoy each destination, and we will carefully review these points with our team. We are especially sorry to hear about the issues you encountered during the desert overnight stay, including the cold meals, lack of hot water, and drinks not being included. This is not the level of service we aim to offer, and we will be addressing this with our accommodation partners to ensure a better experience for future travelers. Your feedback helps us continue improving our tours, and we truly appreciate your honesty. Thank you once again for traveling with us, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a smoother and even more enjoyable adventure. Warm regards, Ali

This will be our first trip to Morocco. We would like a private tour for the 2 of us. We are in our mid 70's and my wife uses a cane and can't walk long distances. She has a difficult time with stairs without railings. WE don't want to ride a camel. Looking to start and end in Casablanca with the longest drive between destinations around 3 hours if possible. We don't want to stay in a camp but would like to go for dinner and show. can you craft an itinerary for us?

We would like to know what time the tour would start on the Day 1? Should we fly in on the day before? Also would you recommend flying out of Marrakesh or Casablanca on the final day?

    • Morocco toursOperatorWritten November 2025

On Day 1 we don't have any scheduled activities — this day is just for your transfer to the hotel from which the tour will begin. So you can arrive on the same day, no problem. For departure, you can finish the tour in either Marrakech or Casablanca. We recommend choosing whichever airport offers the best flight price and schedule for you.

Are the riads/hotels the same now as they were back in Jan? I read a very bad review of the riads, but the riads were something I was looking forward to. Can you share the composition of the people who already booked on the tour start dates of: October 5, 6, 7, 8? How many in the group + age ranges (20s 30s 40s etc?). My ideal would be a group of 30s-40s.

    • Morocco toursOperatorWritten September 2025

Yes, we still use the same riads and boutique hotels as earlier this year. Please note that reviews can vary, but we carefully select properties that are authentic, clean, and comfortable. The riads are a highlight for many of our travelers, offering a unique Moroccan experience. October 5, 6, 7, 8, 2025: No bookings yet.

I also noticed a lot of your tours are similar, just small changes here and there. Are any of the tours around the oct 5 timeframe booked with other solo travelers or tourists already? I am looking for a younger crowd maybe 40s and under.

    • Morocco toursOperatorWritten September 2025

Our tours are guaranteed to run once you book — even if no other travelers join, your tour will not be canceled. In case you are the only guest, the tour will simply operate as a private tour with the same itinerary and services.

We are very interested in your tour but both my wife and I will be 78 years old and have to use CPAC machines to sleep and will not sleep in a desert camp - do you have an alternative for that?

    Accommodation

    • Morocco toursOperatorWritten June 2025

We completely understand your concern regarding the desert camp. Yes, we can absolutely arrange an alternative: instead of spending the night in the desert camp, we can book a comfortable hotel near the dunes in Merzouga with full amenities, including reliable electricity for your CPAP machines and a private bathroom. This option allows you to still enjoy the sunset camel ride and desert experience, then return to the hotel for a restful night.
