The accommodations were beyond comfortable—each hotel and riad felt like a home away from home, with warm staff and beautiful local touches that really made the stay special. But what truly made this trip unforgettable were the guides. They were not only knowledgeable about Morocco’s rich history and culture, but also genuinely caring and attentive.   Strongly recommend NOT booking this tour, and NOT booking via Tour Radar. Two Disclaimers - 1. Due to a severally delayed flight, and concerns over safety of the tour, I decided while in transit, not to proceed with the tour, despite forfeiting the entire cost of the tour (including single supplement) 2. I am a very experienced traveller who has travelled extensively throughout the world. I was scheduled to arrive one day prior to the first day of the tour. Morocco Tours charged me for the airport transfer because I was arriving one day early. This is not typical in my experience. The first day of the tour included arrival only. Notwithstanding this (before advising that I would not be proceeding with the tour) I did not receive any communication from Morocco Tours regarding details of when and by whom I would be picked up to start day two of the tour. At 7:30 pm local time I received a What’s App message from an unknown individual advising he was my driver and he would pick me up at 8:45 the following morning. No reference to being with Morocco Tours, no car description etc. In response I contacted Morocco Tours to convey my concerns about lack of communication and safety concerns. Four hours later Morocco Tours finally responded advising me not to worry and that the unknown person worked for Morocco Tours. They provided the first name of the driver but again no information regarding type of car and or license #. If you are comfortable with a tour operator who only provides vital tour information at the very last minute, and seems to nickel and dime you, then this might be the tour for you. To date, Tour Radar has failed to respond to my concerns - once they receive your money you will receive messages to deal with the tour operator directly.Show more

  Dear Coleen, First of all, we are truly sorry that you were unable to come to Morocco due to the cancellation and delays of your flight. Because you ultimately did not join the tour, you unfortunately did not have the opportunity to experience the journey itself and share feedback based on the actual tour. Regarding the airport transfer and accommodation, as clearly stated in the tour details, the airport pickup and hotel stay are included only on the official starting day of the tour. If a traveler arrives one day earlier, the transfer and accommodation for that extra night are not included in the package. Four days before the tour start date, we sent you the final tour information, including the list of hotels and our emergency contact numbers. While email responses may sometimes be delayed outside office hours, our emergency phone numbers are available 24/7 specifically to assist travelers in urgent situations. We were also in contact with you while you were at the airport and asked you to provide an update with your new flight number. After that message, we were informed that your flight had been canceled again, and unfortunately we did not receive any further updates from you. We were not even certain whether you eventually arrived in Morocco or not. Despite this, the driver still sent you a message confirming the pickup time for the start of the tour. Given these circumstances, we do not believe the situation was the responsibility of our company. The disruption unfortunately resulted from the airline cancellations, which were completely outside of our control. We sincerely regret that your travel plans did not work out and we would have truly loved the opportunity to welcome you to Morocco and provide you with the experience that many of our travelers enjoy. A special thank you to our driver, Hamiid, who was humorous, sincere, caring, and always quick to respond. One time when we got lost after dinner outside the Medina of Fes, he came to pick us up immediately after we sent him a photo of our location, His support made us feel safe and well cared for throughout the trip. The accommodations, transportation, and meals were all great, and the desert-experience was truly unforgettable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Morocco.Show more

Starting in Casablanca, the itinerary was very well planned and allowed us to discover many beautiful places across Morocco, including Fes, the Sahara desert near Merzouga, and the lively streets of Marrakech. The hotels were comfortable and clean, with lovely traditional riads that added a special Moroccan touch to the trip. Our driver and local guides were professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Everything during the tour was organized smoothly, which made the journey relaxing and enjoyable. Overall, a great tour for anyone who wants to see the highlights of Morocco in a short time.   My experience on the 9 Days tour from Casablanca was absolutely incredible from start to finish. As a traveler visiting Morocco for the first time, I wanted a trip that would allow me to see many different parts of the country without worrying about the logistics, and this tour delivered exactly that. First of all, the organization of the tour was excellent. Everything was planned very well, and the schedule allowed us to explore many amazing places without feeling rushed. From the moment we started in Casablanca, the journey took us through some of the most beautiful and diverse destinations in Morocco including Chefchaouen, Fes, the Sahara Desert in Merzouga, the valleys and mountains near Ouarzazate, and finally the vibrant city of Marrakech. The itinerary was perfectly balanced between sightseeing, cultural experiences, and time to relax. The hotels selected for the tour were wonderful. Each accommodation had its own unique charm, especially the traditional riads which made the experience feel very authentic. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the staff at every hotel were friendly and welcoming. The desert camp in the Sahara was definitely one of the highlights of the trip — sleeping under the stars after a camel ride across the dunes was truly unforgettable. Another big highlight was the guides and drivers. Our driver was professional, friendly, and always made sure we were comfortable during the long drives. The local guides in cities like Fes and Marrakech were extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Moroccan history and culture. They explained everything in a very interesting way and answered all our questions. I also want to mention how smooth and well-coordinated everything was. Transfers, hotel check-ins, activities, and guided tours were all arranged perfectly. We never felt stressed or confused about what was happening next, which made the trip very enjoyable. Overall, this 9-day Morocco tour from Casablanca exceeded my expectations. It is the perfect way to experience Morocco’s culture, landscapes, history, and hospitality in a short amount of time.   I have mixed feelings about this tour. Morocco is beautiful with friendly locals and delicious food. The tour driver was excellent, professional, and courteous. Only one accommodation was below standards for my room; however, the other tour member didn't have issues with her room's heating or wifi so it may have just been my room's location. My issue was the cost of single occupancy at approxamitly $1,540.00, which works out to $192.00 a night. The majority of the rooms were well below $100.00 a night, and the luxury desert camp rates were $52.00/night. When I checked their web it was $56.00/night. My advice is to book with a friend to avoid the ridiculous extra charge. My other issue is that the info on Tour Radar indicates that a tour guide will be with you the entire time. This is NOT the case. You only get three local guides at specific locations. Our driver didn't provide any information about the things we were seeing. He basically dropped us off at a sight and told us to go inside. Again, he was a fantastic driver, but he's not a tour guide. Next, the itinerary indicates that on the 1st day, you'll start at the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca. The tour starts before the Mosque opens, so you will not have an opportunity to go inside. This is a big deal because it's the only mosque that allows women and non-muslims to enter. Day 5 of the tour is supposed to be "You'll leave Fes heading toward Merzouga, first passing through Ifrane. A stop at the Cedar Forest in the Middle Atlas lets you see Barbary apes, then you'll visit Azrou Berber village." We never made this stop. No clue why.Show more

As you correctly noted, the issue may have been related to the specific room location, since the other traveler did not experience problems with heating or Wi-Fi. Nonetheless, we understand how important comfort is, and we regret any inconvenience this caused. Concerning the single occupancy cost:We would like to clarify this important point. The total cost of the tour for one traveler is almost the same as for two travelers, because hotels in Morocco generally charge rooms based on double occupancy, not single use. When one person travels alone, they are effectively paying the cost of a room designed and priced for two people, in addition to private transportation, fuel, driver services, and logistics that do not decrease with fewer travelers. This is why we always recommend, when possible, traveling with a friend to reduce the per-person cost. Regarding the tour guide services:You are correct that this tour does not include a licensed tour guide accompanying you for the entire journey. The itinerary includes local certified guides in specific cities and historical sites, which is standard practice in Morocco and required by local regulations. The driver’s primary role is safe transportation and assistance; while knowledgeable, he is not licensed as a full-time guide. We acknowledge that the wording on TourRadar may have caused confusion, and we will work on clarifying this description to avoid misunderstandings. About the Hassan II Mosque visit on Day 1:Thank you for pointing this out. Depending on arrival times and mosque opening hours, it is sometimes not possible to visit the interior on the same day. We agree that this is a very special site, especially as it is one of the few mosques open to non-Muslims, and we regret that the timing did not allow for an interior visit in your case. Regarding Day 5 (Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Azrou):We apologize that the stop at the Cedar Forest and Azrou village did not take place. This can occasionally happen due to time constraints, weather conditions, or road considerations, but we understand that this should have been clearly explained during the tour.   It's a good, introductory tour of Marocco with just enough sites to see in 9 days. There is a lot of driving involved. Our Toyota SUV was a bit cramped for 5 visitors plus the driver and luggage. The driver is not a tour guide. The ones mentioned are local site guides each for a limited time of the visit. The 3 to 4 hours guides in Fes and in Marrakesh were very good. The accommodations were good with the exception of two that were below the standard. These were Riad Gharnata in Chefchaouen which didn't have hot water and adequate heat and Riad Hamama in Marrakesh where our room was tiny and stinky. We were moved to a bigger room on the second night, but it still smelled bad. On the other hand, Riad Gabsi Du Dades was excellent and the best accommodation of the trip. Overall, I'd recommend this trip to first time visitors to Morocco explaining that the tour is NOT a fully guided tour by an escorting guide.Show more

  As a group who enjoy long drives, this tour allowed us to see so much of Morocco that we would have otherwise missed out on. The varied topography was amazing – from cities to mountains to desert. Our driver, Abdoul, was excellent – kind, considerate, friendly and an experienced driver. We felt comfortable with him. We are especially grateful to him for immediately helping us change accommodation at an inconvenient time. Another highlight were our tour guides at Volubilis and Fes (Hamid). They were highly knowledgeable and made the experiences fun. We also enjoyed all the stops on Day 7. We were impressed at how quickly Morocco Tours responded and adjusted to our requests. When we cancelled the Quad biking experience they issued a refund immediately. We were also able to skip the guided tour of Marrakech due to weather and illness. One downside was the quality of the bathrooms at the Chefchaouen and Fes accommodations. We found them slightly below average standard but decent enough for a short stay. Moreover, the staff at these riads were extremely hospitable and the food was amazing. The Luxury Tented Camp at Merzouga and the accommodation at Dades Valley were great. The one major issue that we had was the Marrakesh accommodation. We were not happy with the location, size and general quality of the riad. Morocco Tours offered to book another riad, but we chose to book new accommodation ourselves. We recommend that future travellers research the accommodations beforehand and contact Morocco Tours if you think you want to make any changes. Despite this issue we still choose to rate this tour highly due to the kind people we met along the way and the beauty of Morocco.Show more

  Great experience. Our driver, Zac, 10/10. He was very accommodating and available for all our travel requests. Some of the designated lunch stops seemed to cater for tourist and had over inflated pricing that didn't aligned with local prices. The trip was incredibly fast paced that made it difficult to capture and explore the stops that were planned. There is a lot of driving, even though breaks were frequent and when accommodated when requested. However, it felt like the days were full of just driving. Some accommodations were less than ideal, the overnight accommodation in the desert served cold dinners, there was no hot water for showers, and we were not aware that drinks (at a minimum, water) was not included with the meal.Show more
