Dear Coleen, First of all, we are truly sorry that you were unable to come to Morocco due to the cancellation and delays of your flight. Because you ultimately did not join the tour, you unfortunately did not have the opportunity to experience the journey itself and share feedback based on the actual tour. Regarding the airport transfer and accommodation, as clearly stated in the tour details, the airport pickup and hotel stay are included only on the official starting day of the tour. If a traveler arrives one day earlier, the transfer and accommodation for that extra night are not included in the package. Four days before the tour start date, we sent you the final tour information, including the list of hotels and our emergency contact numbers. While email responses may sometimes be delayed outside office hours, our emergency phone numbers are available 24/7 specifically to assist travelers in urgent situations. We were also in contact with you while you were at the airport and asked you to provide an update with your new flight number. After that message, we were informed that your flight had been canceled again, and unfortunately we did not receive any further updates from you. We were not even certain whether you eventually arrived in Morocco or not. Despite this, the driver still sent you a message confirming the pickup time for the start of the tour. Given these circumstances, we do not believe the situation was the responsibility of our company. The disruption unfortunately resulted from the airline cancellations, which were completely outside of our control. We sincerely regret that your travel plans did not work out and we would have truly loved the opportunity to welcome you to Morocco and provide you with the experience that many of our travelers enjoy. Kind regards, Morocco Tours Team

You can start the tour on the 20th, as the first day only includes the airport transfer and hotel check-in, so your arrival at 11:00 am works perfectly.

    • Morocco toursOperatorWritten March 2026

For this tour, the best price we can offer is 1400 USD per person. This already reflects a very competitive rate considering the quality of services included throughout the experience.

Regarding the journey to the desert camp from Merzouga: if my wife decides she does not want to ride a camel, would we still be able to take part in the tour and reach the desert camp? Are there alternative transportation options available?

    • D

      Dave

      TravelerWritten March 2026

We are looking at travel dates partially during Ramadan. We understand that food and drink are usually limited during daylight hours; however, due to my wife's pregnancy, it is essential that she has regular access to food and water throughout the day. Could you please confirm that this can be accommodated?

    • Morocco toursOperatorWritten March 2026

Many pregnant travelers join our tours without any problem, as the itinerary mainly involves comfortable travel by private vehicle with regular stops along the way. However, since every pregnancy is different, we always recommend that your wife consult her doctor before traveling, especially for longer road journeys.

    • Morocco toursOperatorWritten March 2026

Concerning the desert camp in Merzouga, riding a camel is completely optional. If your wife prefers not to ride a camel, we can arrange a comfortable 4x4 transfer to the desert camp instead. This option is very common and many guests choose it.

    • Morocco toursOperatorWritten March 2026

As for traveling during Ramadan, please don't worry. While some local restaurants may have reduced daytime activity, hotels and tourist restaurants continue to serve food and drinks for travelers. Your wife will have regular access to water, meals, and snacks throughout the day without any issue.

What are the standard starting and ending times of the tour? We want to make sure we can align them with our incoming and outgoing flights.

    • Morocco toursOperatorWritten March 2026

On this tour, the longest continuous driving segment is around 3.5 to 4 hours, and fes to merzouga 6 hours, after which we always plan for a rest stop. We make sure to take breaks for refreshments, photo opportunities, and stretching, so you won't have to stay seated for long periods without a pause.

    • Morocco toursOperatorWritten March 2026

The itinerary is essentially the same whether you start from Casablanca or Marrakech, but the starting city affects the first and last day's schedule slightly. Starting from Casablanca means you'll visit Casablanca and Rabat first, while starting from Marrakech shifts the initial focus to Marrakech and the surrounding area.

    • Morocco toursOperatorWritten March 2026

Typically, we start each day around 8:00–9:00 AM and aim to finish the day by 5:00–6:00 PM, depending on the day's activities and travel distance. This schedule is flexible, and we can adjust it to accommodate your flight arrivals and departures.

This will be our first trip to Morocco. We would like a private tour for the 2 of us. We are in our mid 70's and my wife uses a cane and can't walk long distances. She has a difficult time with stairs without railings. WE don't want to ride a camel. Looking to start and end in Casablanca with the longest drive between destinations around 3 hours if possible. We don't want to stay in a camp but would like to go for dinner and show. can you craft an itinerary for us?

We are staying in Marrakech until February 26 - what riad would the tour include for Marrakech?

    • Morocco toursOperatorWritten December 2025

For your tour, the accommodation we include in Marrakech is: Riad Dar Barbi, Riad Miral. Both are charming, well-rated riads located in the heart of the medina, known for excellent service, traditional Moroccan design, and comfortable rooms. We would like to know what time the tour would start on the Day 1? Should we fly in on the day before? Also would you recommend flying out of Marrakesh or Casablanca on the final day?

    Tour Details
    • Morocco toursOperatorWritten November 2025

On Day 1 we don't have any scheduled activities — this day is just for your transfer to the hotel from which the tour will begin. So you can arrive on the same day, no problem. For departure, you can finish the tour in either Marrakech or Casablanca. We recommend choosing whichever airport offers the best flight price and schedule for you.
