Forcalquier
You'll arrive in Forcalquier and check into your accommodation in this charming Provençal town set between the Lure and Luberon mountains. By 6pm, you'll meet your tour leader and other travelers, then head out together for a group dinner to get to know everyone and start things off right.

Landmarks Forcalquier - Day 2
Lurs
After breakfast, a guided walk takes you through Forcalquier's town centre and its bustling market with over 200 stalls selling local goods. From there, you'll transfer to Lurs village for a picnic lunch, then do a 4-mile walk that offers nice views down the valley. Later, you'll visit a local olive oil workshop to learn about production and taste their oils before heading back to Forcalquier.

Landmarks Forcalquier Market Lurs - Day 3
Rustrel - Lourmarin - Bonnieux
This day focuses on the villages throughout Luberon. In medieval Banon, you'll take a 45-minute walk and see its historic church while learning the local history, plus sample some of the area's famous goat cheese. Next, you'll check out the colorful Provençal Colorado in Rustrel and do a 1-mile hike through the terrain. You'll also pass through Lourmarin and Bonnieux before returning to Forcalquier by evening.

Sisteron
You'll transfer to the Valensole plateau and spend time at Les Grandes Marges farm with a 45-minute walk among the olive trees. There's a wine tasting and you'll smell lavender essential oil to get a sense of what grows here. After that, you'll head to Sisteron for a walk around town, known as the Pearl of Haute-Provence, then drive back through Les Mees village to see its distinctive rock formations.

The afternoon is yours to do what you like, and if you're interested, you can visit Avignon Bridge and the Palais de Papes on your own.

Avignon to Aix-en-Provence
After a 1 hour 20 minute transfer, you'll arrive in Aix-en-Provence, the historic university city and birthplace of painter Paul Cezanne. A local guide shows you around the historic centre and key landmarks, with free time to visit Cezanne's studio or the Musée Granet if you'd like. Later, you'll drive to Château des Trois Sautet for wine tasting right in the vineyard, then return to Aix-en-Provence for a farewell dinner.
