This is actually a classic style trip so all the accommodation is twin shared although some may have a triple room configuration depending on availability. Guests are paired with someone of the same gender in their room. Rooms have an ensuite. You can pay a single supplement if someone would like their own room. This would be an additional $770 USD.

Bali Experience is a classic tour so the rooms are twinshare throughout the trip. If you would like your own room throughout there is an additional charge of 660 euros. You will need to make the booking and then I will be able to amend the cost to make it a single room.

We run the Bali Experience tour all year around. July - August as well as December-January are generally the peak season in Bali.

I am older than 39 but I am athletic and look 40. Can I book for the tour or no exception?

This is a classic trip so if you are under the age of 45 you are welcome to attend. It is not based on appearance or athletic ability. But keep in mind as a youth focused tour the style of trip is adventurous and aimed at the youth market.

How much would it be to have my own room as a single person?

It is an additional £550 GBP if you would like your own room throughout the tour.

Can we stay 3 in a room? And the Max age is 39? My sister is a little bit older than that.

Because this is a Classic tour the maximum age is 45! So your sister would be most welcome! Unfortunately we can't offer three to a room as our Classic tour is twin-share. The third person would be paired with another traveller of the same gender.

Could you let me know how many people are currently booked for that date? Would it be possible to get some information on the ages and nationalities of the group? And lastly, is the My Own Room package upgrade still available? If so, how much is it in USD.

We currently have 11 travellers confirmed for this departure. The group ranges in age from 18 to 33 years old. Travellers are joining from the UK, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, and Thailand. Yes, the My Own Room package upgrade is still available. The cost for the room upgrade is 770 USD.

I recently completed an incredible trip to Bali with True Travel, and I can honestly say it was one of the best travel experiences I have ever had. From start to finish, everything was exceptionally well organised, the places we visited were amazing, and there genuinely wasn’t a dull moment throughout the trip. One of the biggest highlights was the variety of experiences we got to enjoy. We had the opportunity to cook traditional food with a local family, which was a fantastic way to experience the local culture. I also tried surfing for the first time, and the instructors were excellent, making the experience enjoyable and helping us feel comfortable giving something new a go. The Gili Islands were absolutely incredible, especially riding bicycles around the islands, taking in the beautiful surroundings, and enjoying a diving experience. Every destination offered something different, exciting, and memorable. The itinerary was fantastic, with a great balance of activities, cultural experiences, adventure, and relaxation. What I particularly appreciated was that everything was organised for us, while we still had plenty of free time to explore independently and do our own thing. It really was the best of both worlds — enjoying incredible experiences as a group while also having the freedom to discover places at our own pace. The food throughout the trip was excellent, and the accommodation exceeded my expectations. Every place we stayed was fantastic, and some of the accommodation was among the best I have experienced on my travels. The organisation behind the entire trip made everything feel smooth and stress-free. A special mention must go to our guide, G, who was outstanding throughout the journey. He was friendly, kind, approachable, interactive, and genuinely caring. He made sure everyone felt included and looked after, was always willing to help, and went above and beyond to make the trip enjoyable for everyone. Having a guide who is so passionate about what he does makes such a difference, and G was a huge part of what made this experience so special. I would also like to thank Sachin and the entire True Travel team for their excellent communication and support, including arranging my pre- and post-trip accommodation. Everything was easy to organise, the team was great to deal with, and the whole process was seamless from beginning to end. Overall, True Travel delivered an outstanding experience.   For the pre-booked transfer it is only from the airport to our starting hotel. If you're arriving earlier and haven't booked a prenight with us, you will need to make your own way from the airport and then to the starter hotel. However, your Local Legend will be able to help you organise transport locally on the ground if you need. (On a side note: getting transfers/taxi in Bali is very affordable and quite easy to arrange yourself through the local version of Uber called Grab).

  None of our tours are focused on drinking and partying. If anything we've tried to move away from that and have adjusted itineraries accordingly in the past few years. Today's youth don't seem to enjoy partying and drinking as much as they used to pre-Covid. That said, we can't stop people from going out and drinking / partying should they want to. Sometimes you find that the people on your group want to do that, but it's not a part of the itinerary as such, more something they'd choose to do in their free time in the evenings / nights.
