    Asked on February 2nd, 2026

Could you please advise on availability and pricing for a triple cabin departing on January 17, 2028?

    Accommodation
    Price / Availability
    • Exodus Adventure TravelsOperatorWritten February 2026

I can certainly look into pricing and see if a triple cabin is available. I will find out which cabin types can accommodate and let you know of pricing in CAD for 17 JAN 2028.

    • Exodus Adventure TravelsOperatorWritten February 2026

I have checked into the departure for the tour, I want to share transparently that there are no triple cabins remaining available for this departure. That said, we do still have excellent alternatives that work very well for a group of three: We can configure an Explorer Suite or Balcony Suite to accommodate three guests (subject to current availability), OR The best and most comfortable option (and what most guests prefer) is: One double cabin + one solo cabin. This provides better space, comfort, and overall experience, especially on a longer expedition like this one. Are you able to provide quotes for some other options? We had read that quark was a mid price expedition but seems they are closer to the higher end like lindblad and there are a lot of add ons such as transfers, gratuities, excursions etc. which just may be the situation for Antarctica. I'm not sure if you can assist so I can finalize my pricing comparison but would you be able to provide a quote for a triple that January 2028 timeframe? We understand Scenic may have everything included but don't have any pricing for that option. We also had a recommendation for Oceanwide and also possibly Seabourn. We are open to suggestions at this time and would like to have a comparative before deciding but I did like the reviews for Quark. We would like to see wildlife and do some activities as well such as paddling/ kayaking / polar plunge and are possibly interested in camping overnight and a helicopter ride but that won't be a deciding factor. We understand that the best way to maximize our time in the Antarctic is to be on a ship with 200 or less passengers so we can do many landings and have time to explore. Would you be able to advise or provide us with some comparative quotes? We are also trying to compare the total costs for activities, ship, excursions, etc. if you have other suggestions we are open to that as well.

    • Exodus Adventure TravelsOperatorWritten February 2026

Thanks so much for your message, I'm more than happy to help you compare options for itineraries with Quark specifically. A quick note on Quark: they offer the widest range of off-ship excursions in the industry, both included and paid adventure options. The goal is always two off-ship outings per day (conditions permitting), ideally a zodiac cruise and a landing with hiking opportunities. What really sets Quark apart is that guests are always guided by true polar experts such as glaciologists, marine biologists, ornithologists, and historians, rather than general ship crew. This makes a noticeable difference in the quality of wildlife viewing and learning. I can absolutely prepare some itinerary suggestions that meet your wants and look into triple cabin options or alternatives. Camping in Antarctica typically operates in the early months of the season OCT- NOV and have some great experiences on some itineraries. Would you be open to a bit of date flexibility to make camping possible? if you love the itinerary? Polar plunge is a must!

I think I would like to stick with that Jan timeframe as I would prioritize seeing baby penguins vs camping. That would be great if you could advise re other comparatives. I had also been looking at quota, oceanwide and scenic. We are open to other suggestions as well. I do like that quark itinerary for sure. I am trying to also compare total costa including activities, gratuities etc.

    • Exodus Adventure TravelsOperatorWritten February 2026

Hello Deb, Thank you for your patience, apologies as I have been out of the office the last week and just returned. You will have to look at the following itineraries from the Tour Radar site but I wanted to share a couple to start as I can't share details on other companies. The Antarctic Explorer tour below is one of my favourites: Antarctic Explorer via Buenos Aires, Operated by Quark by Exodus Adventure Travels with 2 Tour Reviews (Code: PRC) - TourRadar There is a 7 to 18 JAN 2028 available and there is one triple cabin. Note starting prices of $23,345 CAD per person itinerary delivers the very best of the Antarctic Peninsula in one unforgettable journey: cross the legendary 800-kilometer (500-mile) Drake Passage; explore majestic polar landscapes by Zodiac, kayak, or on foot; photograph penguins, whales, and seals framed by towering ice; and deepen your experience with expert presentations on history, biology, and glaciology. Included Adventure Options Flightseeing Walking/Hiking Polar Plunge Science and Discovery Zodiac Cruising Presentations Photography Paid Adventure Options: Spaces fill quickly Sea Kayaking $2,750 CAD Paddling Excursion $530 CAD Exclusive Heli-Landing $1,400 CAD Stand-Up Paddleboarding $390 CAD Another January offering would be the Antarctic Express: Fly the Drake, Operated by Quark by Exodus Adventure Travels with 2 Tour Reviews (Code: PSY) - TourRadar 28 JAN to 4 FEB 2028 - triple cabins available Note starting price of $27, 311 CAD per person Fly both ways over the 800-km (500-mile) Drake Passage—the fastest route to and from Antarctica—and experience the best of the 7th Continent on our 8-day Antarctic Express: Fly the Drake. Enjoy a comfortable, time-saving three-hour flight from Punta Arenas, Chile, and board your waiting ship upon landing at King George Island. You'll then spend the next week exploring rugged polar landscapes, encountering unique wildlife, photographing incredible numbers of penguins and seals—and experiencing the unforgettable thrill of standing on the Antarctic Continent for the first time. Lots of opportunities to see gentoo and chinstrap penguins! Included Adventure Options Zodiac Cruising Walking/Hiking Science and Discovery Polar Plunge Presentations Photography Paid Adventure Options: spaces fill quickly Sea Kayaking $2,750 CAD Paddling Excursion $530 CAD Your initial inquiry into Epic Antarctica is absolutely worth revisiting if it's still on your mind.
