  1. Day 1

    McLeod Ganj

    You'll arrive in McLeod Ganj around lunchtime and have time to settle in. Later this evening, head to the Dalai Lama's Monastery to walk around the grounds. The team gathers for dinner where you'll get briefed on what's coming up over the next few days.

  2. Day 2

    McLeod Ganj to Barot

    After breakfast, you're riding toward Barot. The route takes you through Dharamsala on busy roads, then past tea plantations around Palampur. From there, head through Bir and take the uphill road to Billing, a well-known paragliding site. After that, you'll ride along the newly built road down to Barot Valley.

  3. Day 3

    Barot to Jalori Pass

    Today's ride follows a quieter, scenic route heading to Bajaura. You'll stick with the National Highway for a while, then turn off after the Aut Tunnel onto narrow roads that climb uphill. Stop at Jalori Pass for chai and take in the valley views before continuing on.

  4. Day 4

    Khanag to Sarahan

    Starting from Khanag, you're riding down shady, winding Himalayan roads toward Ani, then on to Sarahan. If timing works out, you'll get there by early afternoon to visit the Bhima Kali Temple, which has been standing for about 1500 years. The elevation keeps things cool with nice views around you.

  5. Day 5

    Sarahan to Kalpa

    Most of today's ride is on paved roads, though you'll hit some stretches with loose stone that gets dusty. Turn left off the main road for a steep 7km climb up to Reckong Peo, the district headquarters. From there, continue another 15km uphill to Kalpa, riding through pine forest with tight turns and that crisp mountain air.

  6. Day 6

    Kalpa to Nako

    Riding to Nako, the last village in Kinnaur, you'll stop at a military checkpost at Jhangi where they'll check your permits and passports. After that, walk through Nako, a quiet Buddhist village with small shrines scattered around. Check out the old monastery that was founded by the Great Translator Rinchen Zangpo and see the intricate mural work inside.

  7. Day 7

    Nako to Tabo

    This is when things get dramatic as you enter Spiti Valley on your bikes. The landscape turns into cold desert terrain. You'll climb uphill first, then cross the famous Mulling Nala before descending to the valley floor. Pass through a military checkpost at Sumdo near the Tibet border, then head to Tabo Monastery.

    Langza - Comic

    After taking your time with breakfast, ride to Key Monastery, then continue through Langza and Comic Village. Comic Village sits among the highest inhabited places you can reach by motorcycle in the world. Afternoon is yours to relax and walk around town looking for souvenirs or just rest up.

    You're riding past Key Monastery toward Kibber Village today. Along the way, you'll cross the Chicham Bridge, which is the highest bridge by altitude in the world. Ride through villages with great views and landscapes. After passing Losar, the last village in Spiti Valley, the road turns to dirt and gets rocky and dusty.

    Leh
