Outstanding! Unbelievable trip of a LIFETIME!!! Taj-Destinations did a phenomenal job arranging our Golden Triangle Tour plus a stop in Ranthambore to look for tigers. We had a private car the entire way; Gopal, our driver truly spoiled us. Hotels were 5 star all the way - incredibly comfortable and beautiful. We loved all the tours included; Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. Our favorites were the Taj Mahal (of course) and the pink city of Jaipur with all its history. Loved shopping at the markets and seeing all the forts and palaces along the way. All I can say is my daughter & I will definitely be back! The hospitality we experienced was amazing! My daughter & I felt truly pampered, safe & well taken care of. We can't get enough of India - books, movies, TV and I truly look forward to our next trip!!! Thank you Taj! We will be back!!

What our customers ask about Adventure & Adrenaline Tours & Trips in India
When is the best time to go on an Adventure tour in India?
The timing varies across India's diverse regions. For Rajasthan and the Golden Triangle October through March brings comfortable temperatures and clear skies. Ladakh adventures work best from April to June when mountain passes are accessible. Wildlife enthusiasts heading to Ranthambore should visit between October and May when tigers are most active. Kerala's backwater adventures shine from November to February with mild weather that's perfect for outdoor activities. A TourRadar traveler noted: "The safaris were incredible - we were lucky enough to see a tiger mother and her two cubs up close in the wild."
What are the must-do adventure activities in India?
Each region of India presents its own set of adventures. Visitors can track tigers through Ranthambore National Park search for leopards in Jawai Bandh or watch elephants roam in Nagarhole. Kerala's network of waterways offers peaceful houseboat journeys from Alleppey. The high-altitude desert of Ladakh presents opportunities for monastery visits and camel rides through the Nubra Valley. A TourRadar traveler shared: "The leopard safari in Jawai Village was extraordinary thanks to Jayanti's excellent driving and wildlife spotting talents."
What type of accommodation can I expect on an India Adventure tour?
Accommodation options range from city hotels to wilderness camps. Major cities feature properties like the Holiday Inn Jaipur City Centre while wildlife areas offer specialized lodges such as Desert Himalaya Resort in Nubra Valley. Traditional houseboats serve as floating hotels in Kerala's backwaters and camps like Pangong Sarai provide shelter near mountain lakes. Remote regions such as Ladakh feature properties like Zen Ladakh that blend local culture with modern comforts. A TourRadar traveler noted: "Hotels were clean and comfortable offering perfect rest after adventure-filled days."
What wildlife can I expect to see on India Adventure tours?
The country's varied landscapes support an extensive range of wildlife. Ranthambore and Panna National Parks are home to Bengal tigers leopards and several deer species. Nagarhole National Park houses Asian elephants and numerous bird species. Jawai Bandh has earned recognition for its leopard population while Kerala's backwaters teem with waterfowl and small mammals. As one TourRadar traveler recounted: "At Ranthambore we were thrilled to spot a tiger mother with her two cubs while the bird sanctuary at Bharatpur offered amazing avian diversity."
How much time should I plan for an India Adventure tour?
Tour length depends on your selected destinations. A Golden Triangle wildlife circuit requires 7-10 days exemplified by the week-long Regal India tour. More extensive trips including Ladakh or Kerala need 10-16 days with the South India tour taking 16 days to cover multiple parks and waterways. A TourRadar traveler advised: "The tour was really well organized over 10 days giving enough time to experience both cultural sites and wildlife adventures."
What transportation is used during India Adventure tours?
Transport methods match the terrain. City transfers use air-conditioned vehicles like Toyota Innovas while wildlife safaris in Ranthambore and Jawai require specialized 4x4 jeeps. Kerala features traditional houseboats for water travel and Ladakh tours employ vehicles built for mountain conditions. A TourRadar traveler mentioned: "Our driver Mr. Pooran Singh was excellent making sure we were comfortable during long drives and wildlife excursions."
