The schedule works well - busy wildlife days are matched with relaxed evenings at comfortable hotels. The guides make a huge difference in what you'll see. They know exactly how to position the jeeps for photos and can read animal tracks and sounds like a book. Going by jeep rather than the bigger canter vehicles lets you move around better and get clearer views when you spot something interesting. Book about 2.5 months ahead to get spots in the best safari zones. While the park runs October through June, your best shot at tigers is March to May - they're out and about more near the water then. Early morning and late afternoon drives give you the best chance of seeing wildlife when it's cooler and the animals are more active.
