What is the level of accommodation on this trip

The standard accommodation on this tour will be shared rooms in hostels and guesthouses. If you are looking for a bit more comfort or privacy, we offer a room upgrade at $660 CAD ($330 per person). This would upgrade your accommodation to private twin/double rooms.

Really interested in booking this, but am desperate to go to ranthambore National park for a tiger safari can this be done on day 9 during the free day? Or would it be best to do it after the tour. I'm also a solo female traveller so conscious about doing too much on my own.

It would be best to visit the National Park before or after the tour, as it will most likely take a while to get to the park and do the safari and return. Once the tour has finished in Goa, you could fly back to New Delhi and start a tour to the National Park from there. Also, other people in your tour group might be interested in also joining you to the park! Our guide in India might also be able to give you some advice on the best tour guide for the National Park.

The price includes unmissable activities entrance. We suggest a budget between EUR 30-40 per day on food only. You can book optional activities with your Adventure Leader. We will provide camping gear. The domestic flight will include check-in baggage of up to 15 kg.

Is it already sure that the trip takes place? I am not vaccinated. Do I need a pcr or antigeen every time I take an airplane? Or is not necessary? Otherwise it is too complicated.

Yes, this trip is a definite departure. If you are unvaccinated, you will need to upload a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR report, with the test having been conducted within 72 hours prior to undertaking the journey.

Just wondering if there are any possibilities of doing the other two long distance journeys (Jodhpur-Mumbai, Mumbai-Goa) also by train, instead of flights? Obviously flight is faster, but I've been told India is best experienced by train, and I do love to see as much of a country as possible. If possible, I do understand this would involve solo traveling and scrubbing two hotel nights, which is no problem.

I have checked with our India Team and they said it is possible. However, because October is a very busy season in India and they cannot guarantee they can book the train tickets as requested but they will do their best to secure the tickets. Would this be fine for you?

I typically avoid tours because I love the freedom of independent travel, but this experience completely changed my perspective. It still felt like traveling—adventurous, immersive, and full of unexpected moments—but with the bonus of an amazing group of like-minded people and the ease of having all the logistics handled. India can be overwhelming, especially for first-timers, but I felt so safe the entire time. From navigating chaotic city streets to taking overnight trains, it was reassuring to have a guide who knew what they were doing. Instead of stressing about transport or where to eat, I could actually enjoy every moment—whether that was watching the sunrise over the Taj Mahal, sleeping under the stars in the desert, or exploring the wild energy of Mumbai. One of the best parts? The people! I bonded so much with the other travelers, and by the end, we felt like a little family. We hyped each other up for spontaneous adventures, laughed over late-night train snacks, and shared the highs (and occasional travel fails) together.
