For the "Ha Giang Loop Small Group Motorbike Adventure from Hanoi - Discover Must-See Destinations" tour, you will travel by bus from Hanoi to the Ha Giang Loop and back. Once at the Ha Giang Loop, the tour will begin using motorbikes. We will provide a driver for you on the motorbike, but if you wish to ride it yourself, you must have a valid motorcycle license to ensure safety. However, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to drive, as there are many traffic police along the route.

The tour itself was 5 stars! Hannah organized everything brilliantly. Our drivers Tiệp and Hưởng made us feel super safe, and our guide Kien was great too, he even gave us great tips for Hanoi afterward! However, be aware that advertising this as a "4-day tour" is a bit misleading. Day 1 is just a not too comfortable overnight sleeper bus, and Day 4 is an early morning arrival back in Hanoi (3 AM). This means you should also book a hotel for the night you return (if you don't want to spend your night on the street). You only get 2 actual days on the Ha Giang Loop. We love supporting growing businesses, so we're leaving 4 stars overall because the team on the ground was amazing. But please read the itinerary carefully! Next time, we would definitely book the 3 or 4-day loop package because it's 100% worth it.Show more

We’re especially glad to know that you felt safe throughout the trip and appreciated Kien’s recommendations for exploring Hanoi afterwards. ❤️ We’d also like to provide a little more context regarding the 4-day itinerary and the overnight sleeper bus. Hanoi and Ha Giang are quite far apart, so the journey to and from Ha Giang itself takes a significant amount of time. For this reason, it isn’t possible to fit the transportation, the Ha Giang Loop, and the return journey into only two days. The first and last parts of the itinerary are therefore mainly dedicated to the long-distance transportation, while the time in between is focused on experiencing the Loop itself and it is mentioned quite clearly in the itinerary. Regarding the sleeper bus, traveling overnight over such a long distance is naturally not as comfortable as regular daytime transportation. The road to Ha Giang is also very different from a highway. Once we enter the mountainous areas, the roads are winding, with many bends and changes in elevation, so the journey can feel less smooth. Unfortunately, this is part of the geography and road conditions of reaching Ha Giang, and we hope you can understand why the journey requires more time. We truly appreciate your constructive feedback and will continue working to make the itinerary and transportation details as clear as possible for future travelers. Most importantly, we’re very happy that our team on the ground made you feel safe and well looked after, and that you would consider taking a longer Ha Giang Loop experience next time. Payment information
- For any tour departing before October 25th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after October 25th, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Up Travel Vietnam. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
