Our commitment begins with people. Many of the men and women who assist in our cooking classes, coffee workshops, and cultural tours come from minority communities across northern Vietnam. They live and work with us in the city, earning a steady income and gaining access to training and professional development opportunities. This support provides stability not just for themselves but also for their families, helping create lasting change. Our chefs and tour guides, drawn from diverse local backgrounds, share the same passion for giving back to their hometowns. Through ongoing training and career development, they grow professionally while strengthening the economies of the regions they come from.

We extend our care to the environment and local producers as well. Whenever possible, our tours use fresh, locally sourced ingredients and products. Each year, more than 3 tons of local produce, coffee, and specialty ingredients are purchased from small-scale farmers and artisan producers across northern and central Vietnam. By supporting these supply chains, we help keep traditional skills alive, reduce transportation emissions, and strengthen the local economy. Beyond sourcing responsibly, we implement eco-friendly practices across our tours, minimizing single-use plastics, reducing waste, and carefully planning itineraries to lower carbon emissions. Since 2022, we’ve reduced approximately 6,000 plastic bottles from entering the environment through our initiatives, and we continue to track and offset carbon emissions associated with our tours. In rural areas like Cao Bang, we go further. Since 2020, our team has helped build 14 houses for families in need, providing more than just shelter—we offer stability, hope, and a foundation for a brighter future. During natural disasters such as floods or storms, we’ve contributed cash and in-kind support totaling over 200 million VND to affected communities, ensuring that help reaches those who need it most. We’ve also extended assistance to vulnerable populations, offering temporary housing, employment opportunities, and mentorship for those facing economic or social challenges. Every action, whether big or small, is part of a larger mission to empower communities and create long-term change.

Cultural preservation is another pillar of our approach. Vietnam’s rich heritage is reflected in the crafts, stories, and traditions of its people, and we partner with 45 artisans, craftsmen, and cultural centers nationwide to ensure these practices continue to thrive. Guests on our tours have the opportunity to meet local makers, learn about their crafts, hear personal stories, and even try their hand at traditional techniques. These interactions create memorable experiences that go beyond sightseeing, they foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of Vietnam’s living culture. By supporting these artisans, travelers contribute to sustaining traditions that might otherwise fade, keeping artistry and knowledge alive for future generations.

We also believe in giving back through every tour experience. Every guest who books with us contributes a portion to our community initiatives. Since 2022, this has allowed us to serve roughly 4,700 charity meals to pediatric patients in central Hanoi hospitals. At the same time, we support local education programs, which have benefited over 300 students in rural areas since 2021.
