I'm traveling with my partner and we each have 3 pieces of luggage - 6 bags total (2 backpacks + 4 suitcases). Will your package help us accommodate this amount of luggage handling - and what can I expect the domestic flight baggage fees to be?

Our package includes 23 kg of checked baggage and 10 kg of hand baggage per person. If you'll be bringing more luggage, you can pay for extra luggage at the airport.

Are flights included in the tour price? Are there tours with French-speaking guides?

No international or other internal flights are included in the tour price. We only have an English-speaking tour guide available because this is a group tour.

we need 13 days (12 nights) tour, from 8th to 20th March. Are you able to add 1 more night to stay at Hon An or offer anything esle ? can you do any changes ?

What currency is additional local payments? Is it 414 USD or NZD?

Are internal flights included in the price you quote, or if we pay on top of the price quoted, can you give an idea of the extra cost?

The tour price you see does not include domestic flights. The displayed price only covers the following: hotel accommodations, English-speaking guide, all entrance fees, transfers, and meals. Domestic airfares are handled separately and must be paid to Up Travel Vietnam as a local payment. Once you book the tour, I will reach out to provide a payment link for the domestic flights. These airfare fees are separate from the main tour cost due to potential fluctuations in prices, which can be influenced by factors such as travel dates, flight availability, and fuel taxes. By managing them as a local payment, we aim to keep our tour prices lower and provide greater flexibility during the booking process.

If I purchase travel insurance, particularly for trip cancellation, would this reimburse us if we paid the deposit? Additionally, what is the cost to add the Christmas banquet tour Also, we want to upgrade to 4 4-star standard.

In our package, travel insurance is not included, so you will need to purchase it separately from TourRadar or another insurance company. We only provide travel services, and if you book the tour and need to cancel for unforeseen circumstances, you can contact the company from which you purchased the insurance to seek reimbursement based on your coverage. We do not offer a specific Christmas banquet tour. However, please note that if you are traveling during this time, you will incur a surcharge as it falls on a holiday, when services and accommodations may have additional fees. Vietnam will also have many public events during Christmas that you can participate in on your own, so there's no need to worry! During the holidays or any other festive occasions in Vietnam, you can choose to join a tour or enjoy free time at your hotel. Regarding the upgrade to a 4-star hotel, after you click "Book" on our tour, the system will direct you to the checkout page where you can fill in the necessary tour information, such as personal details, passport info, and payment information. There will also be options for upgrading to a 4-star or 5-star hotel, along with the respective costs for you to consider. You will then be able to review the prices and choose one of the options or skip it if you prefer to stay at a 3-star hotel throughout the trip.

It felt like I was a local because I literally lived close to prime locations where I could walk and eat the best banh mi and drink delicious Vietnamese coconut coffee. This meant that the locations of the hotels are perfect. The tours each day met my every expectations, I saw and experienced everything I wanted to know about beautiful places in Vietnam. The tour organizer, Hannah, kept the communication consistent, and she regularly texted me about daily updates. That to me is excellent. She was totally reliable. If you’re looking for an adventure, and ready to learn about Vietnam’s culture, history, heritage, culinary specialties, and beautiful natural sceneries, this tour is what you need. However, please note that if you are traveling during this time, you will incur a surcharge as it falls on a holiday, when services and accommodations may have additional fees. Vietnam will also have many public events during Christmas that you can participate in on your own, so there's no need to worry! During the holidays or any other festive occasions in Vietnam, you can choose to join a tour or enjoy free time at your hotel.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before September 10th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after September 10th, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Up Travel Vietnam. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Up Travel Vietnam will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Up Travel Vietnam" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
