  I highly recommend booking this tour, and had an amazing experience with our tour advisor, Hannah. The entire trip was amazing from exploring train street, Ninh Binh, various pagodas/temples, and so much more, Ha Long Bay overnight cruise especially standing out. Hannah was an absolutely exceptional travel advisor, and a huge part of why our Vietnam trip went so smoothly. From the very beginning, she was incredibly responsive, professional, and supportive. She coordinated everything from flights, hotels, transportation, and even assisting us navigating the Vietnam Visa process. We also were traveling with a lot of luggage coming from a Japan trip, and she made what could have been a stressful situation completely effortless. What really stood out was her organization and communication. Every evening she kept us updated with a clear plan for the next day, including driver details and license plates, which gave us total peace of mind. Everything was structured, reliable, and well-planned. Big shout out to Hannah for being kind, friendly, and quick to respond whenever we had questions. We never had to worry or second guess anything. Overall we had an amazing experience and I give my highest recommendation. I highly recommend Hannah and the entire TourRadar experience for anyone planning a Vietnam Trip.Show more

  I did a fair bit amount of research on a tour company before booking. I will say I did read some mixed reviews about tour radar (the reviews were from tours all over the globe). You get mixed reviews with everything nowadays, so I took the good reviews, the fair price, and experiences they offered and decided to start the prosses with them. I cant say enough good things about the entire process, from start to finish it was a great experience. They answered all of my questions quickly before I even booked. Hannah was an incredible help with modifying the tour to include things we wanted to see. We only had 7 days in Vietnam, which was a shame because it is a beautiful country with great people, and so much more to see. We are definitely planning to go back. Before the trip Hannah made sure we had everything we needed to prepare for the trip. She kept in contact with me during the entire trip, make sure we knew what time to expect our driver every morning before each tour, the driver name and license plate to ensure our safety. It was an absolute pleasure to work with her and have her help and guidance during the entire process. All the transfers to and from the airport and hotels, all the tours and most meals taken care of which was amazing, and made for a great stress free adventure. The Tours. We had a number of different tour guides, all of the friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone of them added their own flair and something different to see that maybe wasn't on the itinerary which we enjoyed. One thing we didn't overly like was when the tour guides would stop at locations to try and get us to buy things (I can assume they got a commission on sorts for taking us there if we purchased something) It was great to learn more about things but our first tour guide stopped a few times at similar locations so that was a little off putting after the first stop as you could tell he wanted us to buy stuff. Our first two tour guides strongly suggested us tipping, we had every intention to tip and Hannah did say the suggested tip amount to the guides if we enjoyed the tour which was nice to know the suggested amount for tipping. However when the guides themselves asking for tips it was off putting, when we tipped the first tour guide he then said what about the driver, the tip was intended for both of them but he slipped the whole tip in his pocket so we then had to tip the driver as well. Our second tour guide, we learned our lesson and split the tip before hand for the driver and the guide, but again he mentioned tipping during the tour. Our third and final tour guide in Ho chi minh city was absolutely outstanding! He was funny, friendly and went above and beyond with our experiences. He even gave us all a post card souvenir at the end of the tour. He didn't ask for or allude to a tip. Which made us want to tip even more, not only for the above and beyond experience but because he didn't ask for or expect a tip. We even left him with some Canadian Maple Syrup. We did book our internal flights on our own to save a little money during the trip, which worked great, we did however spend a little more time at the airport then we wanted, so having tour radar book those flights for you would eliminate that extra airport time I'm sure, if you wanted to have them book them for you instead. Overall it was a phenomenal experience, having everything organized beforehand made for a relaxing but adventure packed experience. We did upgrade to 4 star hotels which were also unbelievable. The hotels are in great spots for walking to restaurants, shops, etc. I will use tour radar again with future vacations and will definitely be going back to Vietnam. It was the highlight of our 3 weeks in Asia for sure. Thank you again to Hannah for all of your help and hard work. 100% recommend tour radar and visiting Vietnam!Show more
