I'm looking to book the Iguazu Falls on a shoestring in late August 2026. Could you please advise the cost of a single room, and also if it is possible to book a helicopter flight through you, and if so what that cost would be.

I was questioning the security of my luggage, if I was to go with your standard tour, and not upgrade to a private room. My understanding is that the accommodation would be in a shared, dormitory type room. As I'm planning on travelling for a couple of months I don't wish to carry towel, for just a few nights, so was interested in the price to hire one.

The helicopter tours has to be done during the Brazilian side of the falls tour. If you want to do it, we have to coordinate on the way in to the park whern you begfin the tour or on the way out of the park when you finish it, most likely this last choice, as the rides take of just before the entrance. As the tour will continue and you will stop for the ride, you will need to pay a suplement for someone to wait only for you to take you back to the hotel. If you want to try we can quote you this extra transportation and the ride to see if it is worth to do it.

About accommodation, we like to have private hotel room with private bathroom. Each room will have two travelers (double bed or two twin bed). With that, can you tell us how much per person? Since we are a big group, will we get done discounts?

This itinerary includes pick up and drop off in IGR Airport or/and Bus Stations, with accommodation in Puerto Iguazu, Argentina. The entrance fees to the National Parks (both in Argentina and Brazil) are not included in this package. They can be paid in cash at the moment or even online, as you prefer. The supplement private transfer applies when your arriving flight doesn't allow you to catch the regular transfer (that's included in the price) to your accommodation between 7am and 9pm.

Yes, both airport pickup and drop-off are included in the itinerary. Yes, this is a guaranteed departure. Once booked, your trip will proceed as scheduled. Sleeping arrangements will depend on the type of accommodation you choose: If you book a shared dorm, you'll stay in a room with 4–6 beds alongside other travelers. If you prefer a private room, that option is also available. The only meal included is breakfast, which is provided by the accommodation. Other meals are at your own expense, but we're happy to recommend local restaurants or food options. This is an individual trip, so your transportation and accommodation are arranged just for you. However, excursions are done in regular/shared groups, meaning you'll join other travelers for the day tours, but not necessarily the same people throughout your itinerary. As a Canadian passport holder, you can enter Argentina for up to 90 days without a visa for tourism purposes. You just need a valid passport (recommended to have at least 6 months of validity) and proof of onward travel (such as a return flight).

Where do we get our meals from since they are not included? What time approximately would we get back to our hostel on day 3? The tours of the falls were excellent, with all the transfers and transport working smoothly. The tour guide, Marco, was also excellent. I stayed at Glamping Selva Iguassu, which had a a few issues, mainly due to communication problems, as English was not spoken by most of the staff. On arrival I was shown a sheet with meal times, breakfast being listed as 7am to 10am. I duly arrived at 7am the next morning at the dining area to find no breakfast and no staff. As I had to leave at 7.15 for the tour of the falls I missed breakfast. You need to inform them what time you want breakfast the night before, but due to communication issue I did not understand this at the time. Similarly if you want dinner, you need to order a couple of hours before dining. Even then I had a problem. I ordered a pizza but turned up for dinner two hours later to be be told that there were no pizzas. They did provide me with empenadas, which were delicious. Despite the minor issues, it is a nice place to say, set right in the jungle overlooking the Parana. The pods are clean and comfortable. If you can speak a bit of Spanish it will probably help your stay.Show more

  The rooms have lockers and that you should bring your own lock for it. And they told me that they can give you towels/hair dryer/iron in exchange for your document while you are using it. Once you are done using the towel/hair dryer/iron, you give it back and they give you back your documentation.

Visa
- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 13th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 13th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Hi Travel Argentina. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 40 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Hi Travel Argentina will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Hi Travel Argentina" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
Cancellation Policy
- Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
