For this tour, we will have different accommodation depending on the level of luxuriness you picked (3-4-5 star) and their availability. Some of our usually used accommodations of 3-star level are: 3star: La Sante Hotel, De Rond Hotel, Nostalgia Hotel (Hanoi); Le Journey Cruise (Halong Bay). 4star: Flower Garden Hotel, Palago Hotel, Minasi Premium (Hanoi); La Pandora Cruise (Halong Bay). 5star: Apricot Hotel, The Legend Hotel (Hanoi); Doris Cruise (Halong Bay). For your preference to stay in Ninh Binh instead of going back to Hanoi, we can re-arrange the itinerary so the 2D1N Halong Bay will take place on Day 2 and 3, then you can go to Ninh Binh on Day 4 and stay there until Day 5 without the need to go back to Hanoi.

Are there specific hours we need to be there for the start and end of the trip? Looking at flights we can arrive in Hanoi at about 18 in the afternoon and depart at 8AM, but I'm not sure if this fits the program. Do you have any advice for us? Or maybe an alternative tour for people that want to see the best spots in Vietnam in a relatively short time?

This tour has 2 free days (the first and last day) for you to fly in and out. It means you can arrive and depart at anytime. We will arrange private airport transfer for you to/from the hotel.

This package is a group tour in Vietnam. The group tour is not that you share with the same group from the beginning till the end. Most of our tour is a partial group tour in which you will have a group tour for excursion at each place. For airport pick up is a private transfer. The group size will be from 8 - 20 pax/group. For Halong bay cruise, it will be a big cruise with 30-50pax/cruise.

Is it possible to keep the price of 339€ or would I have to pay double because sharing a room is not possible?

We do not currently have a shared room option. If you are a solo traveler, you will need to use a single room. You can see the price after selecting a departure date and choosing 'Solo traveler' in room options.

Is there a solo traveller surcharge or are we paired with other solos?

A solo traverler will have to pay surcharge for single rooms, you can see the price when chosing "Solo traveler" in room type.

Yes we can add an extra night for you. The cost for it is: 3star: $55, 4star: $70, 5star: $130 (Price for 1 double or twin room per night). And you will still have airport transfer service included in this tour.

Is it possible to have a late arrival? only airline tickets available for me are landing in Hanoi around 8 pm in the evening.

The only two things I wish were different: 1) as a solo traveler there were no options to upgrade to a higher star hotel in Hanoi or higher star boat accommodations for Ha Long Bay 2) Although I understand it’s part of bringing tourism and money to the economy, the restroom break locations were always longer than needed (usually 30 min) and always at places that force you to tour their shopping facilities (I.e. silk, bamboo stores; pearl making, retail store to view and buy). Politely declining touring of facilities and just use the bathroom was not an option. Tour guides were great. Transportation was timely and easy. Accommodations clean.Show more

Amazing trip to Vietnam with Wonderscape Travel. I just came back from my Vietnam trip and until now I am on vacation mode. I book this tour and right after confirmation of my booking, Tony travel coordinator from Wonderscape, contacted me on whatsapp. Honestly he is the best. He is vey helpful and he is dedicated taking time to understand my interests and preferences. As a solo traveler I do have a lot of questions regarding Vietnam and he is patiently answering all of it and giving me all information that I need. And besides, he arrange perfectly well my Vietnam trip. From airport pick up with a private Limousine to airport drop off. This tour is recommended if you have a short vacation days and you want to explore many places in Vietnam. In this tour I was able to see Ninh Binh, I had amazing day with Hue our tour guide. Trang An is beautiful and Hue was like a father, hahaha, I can feel he is very caring keeps on checking on our safety. I had also experienced Halong Bay Cruise for 2 days and 1 night. There are soo much things to do and sooo much fun. Kong did a great job on the Cruise and all the staff of Le Journey Cruise. I was able to explore Hanoi (by myself) since in this tour there is free day before checking out at the Hotel. By the way, La Sante Hotel where I stayed was okay, staff are very nice. The breakfast was good, they serve the same food everyday (so i hope they change the menu) It is not in the Old Quarter however transportation by Grab is accessible. You can walk if you wanted too. Overall, this tour is amazing! Perfect tour for a short vacation days in Vietnam.Show more
