  The Title of our tour was Vietnam 8D7N Small Group Tour - HoChi Minh City - Da Nang - Hanoi. We expected a small group for this tour - not large bus, large group tour programs with stops at high end art/jewelry/clothing shops to pitch sales to us and waste our time or spend an hour in the am and pm picking up and dropping off customers at their hotels to fill up and empty the busses. we had just come off a Cambodia Tour which was truly a small group tour and they did an excellent job. However, this one was hit and miss. What we didn't realize when booking this was that TourRadar is a tour Consolidator that just gets reservations for a tour and then subs out the tours to local providers. Their Coordinator - Hannah at UP Travel (The Vietnam Tour company that got the Tour Radar biz for out contract), did an EXCELLENT job - even when i complained about issues with the group size and accommodations. The problems that I was having with our tour package were well over her head. The way this worked was each day, we were greeted by a new tour guide from a different local company and a different group of people on the tour - unlike past tours we had been on which kept the same tour guide for each city and the same customers for the entire tour. Every day was a new group of people. All this company did was arrange transfers, hotels and contract for daily tours from local tour companies - I can do that! I don't need a tour company to book hotels and tours for me. this was a miss as far as i'm concerned. The daily tours were very good. Unfortunately on the days that we had large buses full of people for our tours and stopped at jewelry stores flogging overpriced pearls, jade, and wooded items, it was a waste of time and I resented being used as a wallet for thier marketing partners.Show more

  TourRadar was an excellent tour operator. They were highly communicative before and during the trip which made everything easy and seamless while travelling to & through Vietnam. We were able to see so much in a short amount of time, but also had some downtime in between to do and see things at our own leisure as well. I would definitely use TourRadar again for future travels!Show more
