  This is sold as a trip where you are likely to be in a group of like minded people for the duration- this simply isn’t true. What happened in my case was I was expected to join a different group each day and do day tours. NONE of my group could speak English and they were in family units. For there sakes as much as mine (Can you imagine how challenging the group meals would be when they are trying to communicate with me- so as a solo I don’t feel like an outsider) I withdrew from the five day experience after one hour when it became clear that I would be joining another entirely different group tomorrow and the same the day after! It is marketed and sold as ‘a chance to make real lasting friendships’ - this cannot be true given you are simply pushed into one group then another day after day. I spent a significant amount of money joining this trip outside of the cost of the trip itself. All wasted. Reading the website they celebrate being a customer focused ethical organisation. If they were they would make it clear that the tours are simply day trips bolted together with no thought into the potential compatibility of those you may be sharing the experience with. On top of this …the first day was marred by quite significant lateness and a tour guide whose grasp of English was more limited than you would expect. No wonder I stayed just an hour. Avoid at all costs if you are expecting a group tour for a number of days- it really isn’t that- honestly. I am surprised the feedback is so strong. I can only put this down to Hannah who is genuinely really good, she is just working for leaders who are driven by profit as opposed to honesty and customer care.Show more

Many reputable operators deliver multi-day experiences by combining daily departures, which is operationally necessary and fundamentally different from fixed-cohort expeditions or cruises. Our tour follows this widely accepted model, and it is not advertised as a single, socially fixed group traveling together for the entire duration. Our focus has always been on providing a high-quality, authentic experience for our guests while supporting the local communities we work with. We do not believe that a cohesive multi-day group composition is a requirement for achieving those goals, and many of our travelers value the flexibility and local interaction this format allows. That said, we understand how this structure may not suit every traveler, particularly those seeking a socially continuous group experience. Your feedback highlights an expectation mismatch rather than a failure to deliver the product as designed, and we appreciate the opportunity to improve how we communicate this clearly to future guests. We also take note of your operational comments and will review them internally. Thank you as well for your kind words about Hannah. We’re glad her efforts stood out.   Some of the guides were more knowledgeable than others although all spoke English well enough to share the information they wished to. There was more walking involved than initially indicated which although fine for me could prove more troublesome for those with limited endurance.one of our guides spent a decent amount of time rounding up some of the group at every stop. It was like herding cats( not his fault but did detract from the overall enjoyment for the rest of the group). The complete lack of organization at the airport for pick up was the one big negative of the whole experience. Being told more than once to “go outside and look for a car with a particular license plate” but not being told where to go, where to look or even what color the car was going to be was a complete disaster and delayed us by almost 30 mins after we had just arrived in the country. Other than that the tours did cover all the main attractions we wished to visit while in Da NangShow more
