- Day 1
Budapest
You'll board your ship this evening at 4:00pm and get settled into your stateroom. After checking in, there's a Welcome Cocktail followed by a specially-prepared dinner. The highlight is an illuminated cruise through Budapest featuring a folklore show with local performers, giving you a first taste of what's ahead on the Danube.

Budapest to Esztergom
This morning you'll walk through Budapest starting at the State Opera House, then head to Parliament and Heroes Square. From there, Fisherman's Bastion gives you great river views. After lunch, you can either take an excursion to the artist town of Szentendre and the former capital Esztergom, or spend time relaxing on deck. The ship arrives in Esztergom for dinner.

Bratislava
You arrive in Bratislava where Gothic and Baroque buildings define the skyline. Head up to Castle Hill for views across the city, then wander through the historic center. Lunch is served aboard, and afterward you'll visit a local vineyard to learn about winemaking before the ship heads to Vienna.

The ship arrives early and you'll have time to explore Vienna's imperial palaces, museums, and the historic Ringstrasse. St. Stephen's Cathedral and the Vienna State Opera are on your route. In the afternoon, choose between visiting Schönbrunn Palace with its gardens or exploring on your own. An optional classical concert is available this evening.

You'll cruise through the Wachau Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage area filled with vineyards and small villages. At Dürnstein, explore the quaint town and its blue medieval abbey, or join a guided walk. After lunch aboard, spend time on the sun deck watching the scenery. Later, you'll visit Melk's Baroque Benedictine abbey to see its frescoes and library.
