To upgrade this tour to a fully private experience, the cost will be €850 per person. Children under 14 years old receive a 50% discount on the total price, and children under 3 years old can travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents.

Can we have a German-speaking guide?

That's absolutely possible. Please note that this will incur an additional cost depending on the number of people.

Could you tell me if you have any restrictions on bookings if I am Russian due to sanctions?

We do not have any restrictions for Russian travellers. You are very welcome to book with us, and we will be happy to assist you with your trip.

What would happen if no one else books the tour for the dates we specify?

Our small-group departures normally gather 5–12 travellers. If no other guests book the same date, we will contact you well in advance to offer an upgrade to a private tour at a special rate.

Would it be possible to have twin rooms and not doubles? We have a little flexibility on dates and would prefer to join a small group.

Good tour with many impressions, and a bit slower pace than other itineraries, bringing you e.g. through Dades Gorge and stopping in some less-known spots. Highlight for sure is Merzouga and the stay in the camp there. Keep tipping culture in mind, in most stops some tipping is expected and a local guide is recommended. Booked a group tour, but due to cancellation of others got a private tour instead. Booking and communication very easy and accommodating.Show more

An Unforgettable Private Family Trip – Highly Recommended We recently returned from the 6-day Southern Morocco tour with Explore Adventures Morocco. Although we booked a small group tour, we ended up with a private trip for our family (including our 9-year-old daughter). It was an exceptional experience that went well beyond our expectations. Our vehicle, a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, was nearly new and perfectly maintained for these roads. Our driver and guide, Hamza, grew up in the southern desert and knew every corner of this remote region. He was incredibly flexible and supportive throughout, especially when we faced a minor medical issue mid-trip. We always felt safe and well looked after. The accommodations were well-selected and full of local character. While the final hotel in Ouarzazate was a bit basic, the others were of a very high standard: • Merzouga Desert Camp: A remarkable experience with unexpected luxury in the dunes. The sunset camel ride, excellent dinner, live music under the stars, and a morning sunrise hike were absolute highlights. • Riad Laman (Zagora): Another excellent standout featuring spacious rooms, a very clean pool, great food, and a welcome selection of wine and beer. This trip gave our family wonderful memories. Thanks to Hamza’s great care and the seamless organization, it was a smooth and deeply rewarding journey. We highly recommend this tour!Show more
