Kuşadası to Pamukkale
Your hotel pickup in Kuşadası happens in the morning, then you'll drive out to Hierapolis where the ancient city's well-preserved structures are spread across the hillside. You'll walk through the Greco-Roman theater, check out the main street and city gates, see the thermal baths, and visit the Basilica of St. Philippe. After that, there's the extensive necropolis to wander through before heading down to Pamukkale. The white travertine terraces are something you walk across barefoot, feeling the natural limestone formations under your feet. If you want to add swimming to the day, Cleopatra's Pool is there with its warm mineral water and submerged ancient columns you can see underwater. By evening you're back at your hotel in Kuşadası.
