Day 1
Nairobi to Masai Mara
A driver will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel or airport at 7am and take you to Masai Mara Game Reserve. You'll arrive in time for lunch at camp, then settle in with dinner and your first night to rest up before the game drives ahead.

Masai Mara
After breakfast, you head out for a full day game drive looking for the wildebeest migrations and spotting the Big 5. You'll return to camp in the evening for dinner. If you prefer, there's an option to do an early morning hot air balloon ride instead, which includes a pilot briefing, watching the balloon inflate, and receiving a certificate before coming back for breakfast and daytime drives.

An incredible experience. Blown away by the quantity and diversity of animals we encountered and especially how close we were able to get, whilst always respecting the rules (which not all drivers do!). Peter the guide and driver was exceptional. Drives between locations was long and the 'roads' are often appalling. If we were to do it again we would have picked the Landcruiser for this reason. Didn't affect our enjoyment of the safari itself, but Landcruiser would have been quicker and easier to pick its way through the roads. Dom deserved a driving award for how he got the minivan along some of those roads!

My wife and I traveled to Kenya for our honeymoon and organized a safari to Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara with Gracepatt. The company was incredibly communicative and planned everything we asked for perfectly. On arrival, we were paired with our guide Steve, who turned out to be the best guide we could have possibly asked for. Steve expertly navigated tough roads, spotted tons and tons of animals, and used his deep knowledge of animal behavior and Masai culture to give us incredibly deep insight into all of Kenya's animals and Kenyan life and culture. We saw all of the Big Five and so so much more. We joked throughout the safari that any time Steve picked up his binoculars to get a better view of something that we ourselves would have never noticed in the distance, we were about to see something great. By the end, Steve wasn't just our expert guide but was also a great friend. We'd recommend Gracepatt Ecotours Kenya to anyone traveling to Kenya for a safari and we especially highly recommend our incredible guide Steve.

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
