Itinerary
- Day 1
Casablanca or Marrakech Arrival
You'll arrive at either Mohamed V Airport in Casablanca or Marrakech Airport where your driver will be waiting to help with your luggage. From there, head to your hotel in Casablanca for your first night. If you're already in the area, your driver will pick you up from wherever you're staying at a time that works for you.

- Day 2
Rabat - Meknes - Fes
After breakfast, check out the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, then drive to Rabat to walk through the Royal Palace ramparts and the Oudaias Kasbah. You'll also see the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and Hassan II before heading to Meknes to wander the Medina and Jewish quarter. Later, stop at the UNESCO-listed Roman ruins of Volubilis with its preserved mosaics and ancient structures. By evening, you'll reach Fes where you'll stay the night.

- Day 3
Fes
A local guide joins you to explore Fes, one of Morocco's imperial cities and cultural heart. You'll walk through the Royal Palace gate and the medieval Medina (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), seeing the Blue Gate, Medrasa Bouanania, and Najjarine fountain. Then visit the historic Tanneries and the Quaraouin Mosque, home to the world's oldest university. After exploring the Jewish quarter (Mellah), head to an ancient fortress for views across the Medina before returning to your Riad.

- Day 4
Ifrane - Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, drive south through Imouzzer to Ifrane, called the 'Switzerland of Morocco' because of its cool temperatures and Alpine-style buildings. Continue to the Cedar Forest to see Barbary macaques and feed them if you'd like. By midday, grab lunch in Midelt during free time, then drive toward Merzouga, passing through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass with stops along the scenic Ziz valley. In the afternoon, switch to camels and cross into the Sahara desert, stopping on a high dune for sunset. Later, arrive at the desert camp for Berber drum music and dancing around the campfire under the stars.

Merzouga Desert Exploration
Wake early to see the sunrise from the desert, then ride camels back to Merzouga where your driver will meet you. Spend the day checking out the area around Merzouga like sand dunes, a wild lake, ancient mines, and fossil areas. You'll visit an eyeliner mine and meet nomads in their handmade woven tent to learn about their lifestyle and have Berber tea together. Later, head to Khamlia village for Gnaoua music and dancing by performers from sub-Saharan countries. After free lunch time, stroll through a palm grove and see wild flamingos at the lake before dinner and overnight in a hotel.

Rissani - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley
After breakfast, leave the desert to visit Rissani, an ancient trading center with a large souk that's lively on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Walk through the Rissani Souk, then continue to Erfoud to see a fossilized marble workshop. From there, drive through palm groves and reach the Todra Gorges where the river has cut a grand canyon through the mountains, popular with rock climbers. Wander in the gorges and enjoy the landscape with free lunch time. Later, continue to Dades Valley through Boumalne Dades with stops at 'Monkey Fingers' rock formation and a mountain overlook before dinner and overnight in a hotel.

Rose Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakesh
After breakfast, head to Kalaa Magouna to visit the Rose Valley, which hosts an annual Rose Festival in May with local rose products. Drive through palm groves to reach Ouarzazate, the 'Gate of the Desert,' where you'll see film studios where well-known movies were made. From there, go to the UNESCO-listed fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, which appeared in films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Continue to Marrakesh, driving through the scenic Tizi-N-Tichka pass and High Atlas Mountains with stops for lunch and photos.

- Day 8
Marrakesh
After breakfast, a local guide takes you through the highlights of Marrakesh, one of Morocco's four imperial cities. You'll see Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, and the Ben Youssef Quranic Mosque. Walk through the largest traditional souk in Morocco and grab lunch near Jemaa El-Fna square during free time. In the afternoon, visit the Koutoubia Mosque and the Majorelle garden. Head back to your accommodation and, if you'd like, wander Jemaa El-Fna on your own.

Your final day depends on your flight details and whether you're leaving from Marrakech or Casablanca. If you have an evening flight from Marrakech, you'll have more time to check out additional sites around the city. If you're heading to Casablanca for your flight, you'll take the highway to reach the airport on time.
