The tour was a fantastic trip into the world the ancient Egyptians created some 4000 years ago. Walked saad, my guide was so enthusiastic and genuine about his passion for history and keen interest to educate and inform visitors to his country. His knowledge was astounding and he tailored his tour to my needs ensuring I had as much or as little information about each location. With the help of our driver we cross crossed the tours locations with an additional trip to the unmissable GEM easily without fuss or delay. I would definitely recommend this trip to others but with only a few recommendations. 1- Do not buy any currency in the UK. Egyptian rates are in our favour so your pounds will go further transferred in country. 2- Budget for all the entrance fees and tips. The pyramids- 700 Egyptian pounds The Cairo Museum- 500 Egyptian pounds The Muhammad Ali Mosque -550 pounds Not included but well worth it: The GEM Tips Well worth the amount for the level of knowledge and service- 600-800 a day for the guide. The trip is fast paced although that was to my liking, I would suggest a longer tour to really enjoy each location. when I requested an addition museum stop the guide easily assisted the booking and made everything work seamlessly. Payment information
- For any tour departing before April 19th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after April 19th, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Ancient Egypt Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 40 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
