Budapest
You'll arrive at Budapest airport and get transferred to your Emerald Cruises Star-Ship for check-in. After settling into your cabin, the rest of the day is yours to wander around the Hungarian capital however you'd like. Come evening, there's an authentic Hungarian folklore show on board followed by a traditional dinner.

Budapest
Budapest splits into two distinct areas, Buda and Pest, and you'll have options for how to see them. Take a guided coach tour hitting Heroes' Square, the UNESCO-listed Andrássy Avenue, and Buda Castle District, or if you prefer something more active, hike up to Gellert Hill where you can see panoramic views of the Danube banks from above.

Bratislava
The ship sails to Bratislava, where medieval architecture and old fortifications shape the city's character. You can join a guided walking tour through the city center and visit the Episcopal Summer Palace and Slovak National Theatre, or hike around Bratislava Castle's gardens if that suits you better. By afternoon, you'll visit a local family's home for coffee and cake to hear about their traditions and way of life.

Vienna
Vienna comes into view with its Habsburg grandeur and ornate Baroque palaces all around. On a guided art tour, you'll check out the Kunsthistorisches Museum, one of Europe's most significant collections. If you'd rather move on your own, cycle along the riverbanks toward Danube Island and the Prater amusement park, home to that famous 19th-century Ferris wheel.

Dürnstein
Start the morning with a guided tour of Göttweig Abbey, a Benedictine monastery overlooking the UNESCO Wachau Valley, and you'll do some wine tasting while there. From there, the ship sails through the scenic Wachau Valley to Dürnstein. You can either hike up to the medieval ruins of Dürnstein Castle or bike through the region past terraced vineyards, castles, and ruins.

Passau
The Danube takes you to Passau, known as the 'City of Three Rivers' where the Danube, Inn, and Ilz all meet. Take a guided tour to see the Gothic and Baroque architecture, or bike along the River Inn. After that, you have free time to look around Passau before the ship heads toward Regensburg this evening.

- Day 7
Regensburg
Regensburg sits on the site of an ancient Roman fort, and you'll walk through the UNESCO medieval center with its narrow cobbled lanes and tall facades on a guided tour, including a local Bavarian sausage tasting. Alternatively, bike out to the Walhalla monument for panoramic views of the Danube. This evening, a traditional Bavarian band performs on board.
