Itinerary
- Day 1
Atlas Valley to Todra Gorges
You'll start at 9:00 AM from your accommodation for a scenic drive through the Atlas Valley with palm groves and kasbahs on the route toward Todra Gorges. The trek takes you through the Valley of Roses where you'll stop at traditional villages and see the Glaoui Ait-Youl kasbah. After walking through the impressive Todra Gorges, you'll check into your riad in Tinghir for the night.

- Day 2
Tinghir to Zagora
After breakfast, you'll explore the Tinghir palm grove which stretches over 15 kilometers, and then walk through the old Jewish quarter with its distinctive adobe architecture. From there the journey continues through remote Berber villages in the Jebel Saghro Mountains, crossing the scenic Tizi-n-Tazazert pass and passing through the desert village of N'Kob. You'll arrive in Zagora by dinner time for your overnight stay.

- Day 3
Zagora to Erg Chigaga Desert Camp
You'll depart at 9:00 AM to meet Jewish silversmiths at Amzerou Palmerie, then check out the 16th-century underground Kasbah at Tamegroute and visit traditional pottery workshops where they make signature green-glazed ceramics. After lunch in M'hamid, you'll head on a 60-kilometer off-road drive into the Sahara, arriving at Erg Chigaga desert camp by late afternoon. An optional sunset climb is available, followed by a festive Moroccan dinner under the stars with live Saharan music.

- Day 4
Erg Chigaga to Marrakech
If you rise early, there's an option to climb the dunes for sunrise views over the sand and try sandboarding. After breakfast, the 90-kilometer off-road return journey follows the legendary Paris-Dakar Rally trail with constantly changing desert scenery. You'll stop at the vast dry Lake Iriqui, break for lunch in Foum Zguid, then continue north through the Berber town of Tazenakht which is known for traditional carpets before arriving back in Marrakech by early evening.
