  1. Day 1

    Kathmandu

    Your Nepal adventure kicks off today in Kathmandu. After you arrive, meet your Adventure Leader and the rest of the group on the hostel rooftop for a briefing and safety tips. From there, head out to explore Durbar Square and grab dinner at a local restaurant. Later in the evening, check out the live music scene in the Thamal District.

    Kathmandu

    If you're interested, there's an optional early morning Everest sightseeing flight available for sunrise views. Later, the group regroups for a full day checking out Kathmandu's main sites including the Swayambhunath Stupa Temple, Boudhanath, and Pashupatinath Temple.

  3. Day 3

    Lalitpur - Nagarkot

    You'll transfer to Nagarkot with a stopover in Lalitpur to visit local temples and meet a living goddess. Along the way, see the Golden Temple and Bangla Mukhi Temple. Arrive in Nagarkot by lunchtime, then the afternoon is free. There's an optional 30-minute hike to a local viewpoint if you want to catch the sunset.

  4. Day 4

    Nagarkot - Kathmandu

    Start with a morning walking tour of Bhaktapur, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Then transfer to Pharphing monastery to explore and check out the cave where Padmasambhava meditated. You'll head back to Kathmandu with the evening free to wander around the city.

  5. Day 5

    Kathmandu - Chitwan

    An early start takes you toward Chitwan with a breakfast stop along the way. You'll arrive midday, have lunch, then head on a jeep safari where you might see deer, monkeys, rhinos, and possibly leopards or tigers. At sunset, there's a canoe trip by the river with coffee. Later, catch a Tharu Cultural Show featuring traditional Nepalese songs and dances.

  6. Day 6

    Chitwan - Lumbini

    Transfer to Lumbini, arriving early afternoon. After grabbing lunch, head on a temple tour. You'll explore the Maya Devi Temple (Buddha's birthplace) and have a meditation opportunity in the Ashok temple grounds. Then visit temples built by Buddhist communities from Cambodia, Germany, and other countries.

  7. Day 7

    Lumbini - Pokhara

    Travel to Pokhara, arriving early afternoon. You'll have free time to settle in before regrouping for a momo making class where you'll learn about Nepalese culinary traditions and get to try what you prepare.

  8. Day 8

    Pokhara

    The morning is yours to choose your own adventure. You can pick from optional activities like bungee jumping (the world's second highest), paragliding, visiting the Mountain Museum, or relaxing by the lakeside. Mid-afternoon, rejoin the group for boating on Phewa Taal Lake with views of the Annapurna range. There's also an optional movie night at the Movie Garden in the evening.

    Pokhara - Ghorepani

    Leave Pokhara by bus and jeep heading toward the Himalayas through local villages. The 4-hour journey on mountain roads isn't the smoothest, but it's definitely worth it. Upon arrival, you'll begin a 2.5 to 3-hour uphill hike through jungle and mountains to Ghorepani village. There's a lunch stop at a mountain view restaurant. You'll arrive in the evening at a local guesthouse with dinner and sunset views.

  10. Day 10

    Ghorepani - Tadapani

    If you're up for it, there's an optional early wake-up for a 1-hour hike to Poon Hill (3,291m/10,797ft) to watch sunrise over the Himalayas. Back at base, enjoy guesthouse breakfast and say goodbye to your hosts. Then set off on a nearly 6-hour trek to Tadapani village through jungles and peaks. The first 1 hour 45 minutes are uphill, then it's downhill the rest. Breaks happen along the way, including lunch at midday. You'll arrive late afternoon and have dinner with sunset views (weather permitting).

  11. Day 11

    Tadapani - Chhomrong

    Start the Annapurna Base Camp trek today after a hearty breakfast. Descend from Tadapani through spectacular Modi Valley views and walk through forest to a clearing with three lodges offering panoramic vistas of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, and Machhapuchhre. The path winds down terraced mountainsides to the Khumbu Khola river in the Annapurna Conservation Area. Cross a suspension bridge, climb briefly, then walk to a tea house on a landslide area. A short easy descent gets you to Jhinnu trail junction. From there, ascend stone steps to Chhomrong, finishing at the New Chhomrong Guest House.

  12. Day 12

    Chhomrong - Dobang

    Zigzag down 2,500 stone steps before crossing a bridge high above the Chhomrong Khola River. Then tackle an uphill trek to Sinuwa, a small village at around 2,340 meters. Meander through gorgeous forest to Kuldihar, then enjoy a downhill stroll to Bamboo in time for lunch. After refueling, continue trekking to Dobang where you'll rest up and have dinner in the peaceful forest.

  13. Day 13

    Dobang - Deurali

    Start by weaving through a misty bamboo forest in chilly, damp conditions with challenging uphill sections. Things open up at Himalaya Hotel where the sun greets you with incredible glacial river views. Continue with a steep but rewarding climb through drier forest to the legendary Hinku Cave, a natural rock shelter historically used by trekkers and porters. The trail dips toward the river then climbs back up to Deurali, where you'll get magical views of the valley, winding river below, and towering cliffs with wispy waterfalls.

  14. Day 14

    Deurali - Annapurna Base Camp

    As you climb above Deurali, the valley opens revealing snow-covered peaks and the trail finally eases up. Pass Machhapuchhre Base Camp, then take a left turn into the valley for a pleasant stroll up to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC). Take it slow with the thinner air at higher altitude, no need to rush. Soon you'll reach ABC surrounded by a spectacular amphitheatre of snowcapped mountains including Annapurna I (8,091m/26,545ft), Annapurna South (7,219m/23,684ft), and Machhapuchhre/Fishtail (6,997m/22,956ft).

  15. Day 15

    Annapurna Base Camp - Bamboo/Dovan

    With half the Annapurna Base Camp trek completed, start your descent today. Soak in views over breakfast, then begin heading back toward Dovan or Bamboo. Pass through Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC), Deurali, and Himalaya along the way. Take breaks for tea, lunch, and more mountain photographs.

  16. Day 16

    Bamboo - Landruk

    From Sinuwa, make your way to Chhomrong before trekking down a steep trail to Jhinu Danda. Here you can treat yourself to a relaxing dip in the hot springs (totally optional but highly recommended). If you'd rather keep moving, continue crossing the Kyumnu Khola on an epic suspension bridge high above the river. Hike through a gorgeous ravine valley winding your way to the charming village of Landruk.

  17. Day 17

    Landruk - Australian Camp

    From Landruk, cruise along a pleasant, easy trail to Tolka, then head upward through the forest toward Pitan Deurali. Trek along a scenic ridgeline with views all the way to Pothana. Continue just a half-hour more to the Australian Camp, settling in for the night at Angel's Lodge.

  18. Day 18

    Australian Camp - Pokhara

    Kick off with an epic sunrise over the entire Annapurna Range and Manaslu, a view that's totally worth the early wake-up. Soak it all in before making your descent to Kande. Hop on a bus and journey through Kaski Danda and Sarangkot, eventually reaching Pokhara. Spend the afternoon exploring this vibrant lakeside city and enjoy a well-deserved rest.

  19. Day 19

    Pokhara - Kathmandu

    Your final day includes one last experience: white water rafting on Nepal's Trishuli River, which has swift rapids, gorges, and lush scenery. It's the perfect blend of excitement and relaxation as you navigate the river's dynamic twists and turns. You'll arrive around lunchtime, spend a couple of hours rafting, then head back to Kathmandu by bus. Bid farewell to your fellow hikers and head onward to your journey home.

For tours departing after April 19th, 2026, a minimum payment of 5% is required to confirm your booking with The Dragon Trip. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 75 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
