Rome
You'll get picked up from the airport and head to your hotel to settle in. Later in the afternoon, make your way to the Esquilino neighborhood where you can check out the grand basilicas and the Colosseum. Dinner is on us tonight.

- Day 2
Rome
Start with a three-hour guided tour that combines walking through Imperial Rome with a panoramic bus ride. You'll see the Arch of Constantine, Colosseum, Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Basilica of Saint Mary Major, Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant'Angelo. The tour wraps up around 11:30 a.m. at Vatican City, leaving the rest of your day free to do what you want.

Rome
Today's all yours to explore Rome however you'd like. Wander the neighborhoods, check out different areas, and find the places that speak to you. Every corner has something different to offer.

- Day 4
Rome to Bari
You'll travel toward the Adriatic Sea, passing through the Apennine Mountains. Stop at the San Giovanni in Venere Abbey, an 11th-century structure built right on Roman temple ruins (admission included). Later, spend time in Termoli checking out the beachside walled old town, its 13th-century castle, and Romanesque cathedral. After grabbing lunch and taking a leisurely walk, head on to Bari, a historic port city with narrow streets, beautiful churches, and real southern Italian character.

- Day 5
Bari to Igoumenitsa
After breakfast, go to Brindisi to walk along the sea and see the impressive Roman column while exploring the old town. Board a modern ferry at 1:00 p.m. for an 8-hour journey across the Ionian Sea to Igoumenitsa, Greece. You'll arrive in the evening and head to your accommodation.

- Day 6
Igoumenitsa to Kalabaka
After breakfast, travel through the tall Epirus mountains to Metsovo, a charming village with traditional stone houses, red tile roofs, and carved wooden balconies. Continue into Thessaly and stop in Kastraki for views of the Meteora Valley. Grab lunch, then explore the Meteora World Heritage Site with its towering rock formations and monasteries. Visit one of the famous monasteries before finishing the day in Kalabaka with dinner included.

- Day 7
Kalabaka to Athens
Journey south through Thessaly to reach Delphi. Walk through the archaeological site overlooking the Gulf of Corinth with nice views of the landscape. Have lunch, then visit the Hosios Loukas Monastery, known for its beautiful Byzantine design and magnificent 11th-century mosaics. Travel toward Athens and arrive in the evening.

- Day 8
Athens
A local guide will take you around Athens starting with the Presidential Mansion, Panathenaic Stadium (site of the first modern Olympic Games), National Library, and busy city center squares. See the newer neighborhoods that came after the 2004 Olympic Games. The tour ends at the Acropolis (you'll need to buy admission separately). Later, head to the Plaka neighborhood with its Greek tavernas and historic character.

- Day 10
Saronic Islands - Nafplio
Early morning ferry takes you to Aegina island, inhabited for over 4,000 years. Explore the picturesque harbor, traditional neighborhoods, and the Greek Temple of Apollo. Ferry to Poros (about 1 hour 15 minutes), where you have free time and lunch. Then a short 15-minute journey to Galatas village, followed by a road trip through hillside landscapes to Epidaurus. Visit the Ancient Theatre (admission included), built 2,400 years ago and still hosting performances. Continue to Nafplio, a charming coastal city with a citadel and Venetian fortress. Explore during free time and have dinner included. Ferry schedules may shift in low season, so Aegina might not be visited if connections don't work out.

- Day 11
Nafplio to Patras
Travel across the Peloponnese mountains to Tripoli, capital of the Arcadia region. Spend free time at Areos Square with its cafes and restaurants. Continue to Olympia to see the Archaeological Site (ticket and guided tour included), where the first Olympic Games started in 776 BC. You'll see the Temple of Zeus, Stadium, Gymnasium, and Arena. Head to Patras, Greece's third-largest city and a bustling port with a medieval fortress overlooking it. Visit Greece's largest cathedral and the nearby church of St. Andrew. Dinner is included.

- Day 12
Patras to Brindisi
After breakfast, cross the Rio-Antirrio Bridge, a spectacular suspension bridge connecting the Peloponnese with mainland Greece. Travel through Central Greece and Epirus. Arrive in Igoumenitsa port town with time for a walk before boarding a modern ferry at 2:00 p.m. for an 8-hour crossing of the Ionian Sea to Italy. You'll arrive in Brindisi around 9:00 p.m. and spend the night there.

- Day 13
Brindisi to Naples
Check out two authentic towns today. Start in Alberobello, famous for its unique conical-shaped houses called trulli with distinctive stacked stone roofs (it's a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Then head to Matera in the Basilicata region, known for its ancient historic center and the Sassi di Matera, dwellings carved into rock dating back thousands of years (also UNESCO-listed and one of the oldest continuously inhabited settlements). After included lunch in Matera, travel through beautiful mountain landscapes toward Naples, arriving by evening with free time to explore.

- Day 14
Capri - Pompeii - Rome
Ferry to Capri for a 45-minute crossing to this island famous for natural beauty and luxury. You can optionally visit Grotta Bianca or take the cable car to Capri town and the Gardens of Augustus for panoramic views. Return to Naples for free time to walk around and have lunch. In the afternoon, visit Pompeii (admission and guided tour included), the ancient city buried by Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Continue to Rome, arriving at the end of the day.
