  Pros: The tour guides and drivers were knowledgeable, courteous, and always willing to help. We especially enjoyed the guide in Morocco and through Portugal into northern Spain. There were some amazing experiences provided by the tour. We really enjoyed the mussel and wine boat ride. The city tours were always enjoyable and helped us become comfortable with each city. We saw so many amazing things in 17 days. We met some really great people on the tour as well. We really enjoyed some of the additional excursions, especially the camel ride in Morocco. Cons: I’ve been on several bus tours in the past and in comparison this one was too rushed. There often wasn’t enough time to sleep and there wasn’t enough free time to enjoy different locations. There are constantly people joining and leaving the group, including tour guides and drivers. This was confusing at times. Also, at times three different languages were spoken by the people on the bus and the tour guides. The language barrier was difficult at times.Show more

  We had read quite bad reports about the company and we were a little apprehensive about our trip but from the minute...
  We had read quite bad reports about the company and we were a little apprehensive about our trip but from the minute we booked we had the best of experiences. They communicated at every step and I asked a lot of questions before we left about pickups etc. all were answered immediately and comprehensively. When we arrived there was someone to meet us and take us to our hotel. The first morning was a little confusing but we always found people who had been on trips before who gave us the heads up about what to do. We meet a wonderful group of people 11 of us who did the whole trip together and become a real family group. Yes we did have a lot of guides and some were fantastic and some average to poor. Luckily you only had them for a little while. The hotels were excellent and always near somewhere to eat or shops. In Morocco all meals are provided as the hotels can only be built somewhere were there is enough room for them which is outside the older towns. There is no high rise in most of Morocco. A couple of bad experiences was because of the guides bad communication. Eg. a half ride on a camel in the Sahara desert and then a two hour wait for sunset and he forgot to tell people to take water and there was no shade. One day we had a three hour walk around the city and then was given three hours free time but the bus had gone and people did not have their bags. Overall we were very happy and would recommend Europamunda to anyone going overseas. I like that you didn’t have to tip and the side trips were not pushed onto you.Show more

  Too many tour guides. Too many inexperienced guides. Morrocco tour guide and driver were great though 5 stars to Houssan and Mohammed. Not enough time in Porto. Long travel days. If you want to do Morrocco, do it as separate trip. Hassle to cross into Morrocco from Spaiin and vice versa. Customs delays, ferry delays, carrying own luggage to and from ferry.Show more

I understand that maybe you´d prefer an individual guide for the whole tour, however, Europamundo coach circuits work by different tour guides that change depending on the trip segment. Our guides always try to follow the itinerary, however, there can be times that they face some issues as delays where they need to skip some parts of the places you are visiting.
