I would like to book this tour but I will be carrying a heavy backpack with me. How will luggages be handled during the tour and going to different places?

We recommend you pack as lightly as possible and make sure that you are able to carry and lift your own luggage and walk with it for short distances or up or down a flight of stairs. Our travellers usually find the smaller their luggage is, the more they enjoy the trip not having to worry about carrying heavy bags! Aim to keep your main luggage under 15kg. Many travellers carry their luggage in a compact smaller suitcase or backpack with wheels. We recommend your bag has carry straps or handles so it is easy to lift and carry for the times you are unable to wheel it (ie. on rough surfaces or up steps). In the overnight train the luggage travels in the carriage with the group.

Can I add extra services to my booking?

Extra services like pre or post accommodation and airport transfers can be booked subject to availability.

To add icing on the cake, we were so pleased with our tour guide, Suchin Temo who was an active, up to date, informative and fun person to be around with, to say the least. He's innovative and caring and his experience and mastery of his job is what is exemplified the whole time we were with him. Payment information
- For any tour departing before November 10th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after November 10th, 2026, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with Intrepid Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
