  I found this a difficult tour as a solo traveller. All the accommodation was a long way from the city you were visiting and not all hotels had restaurants. People were joining and leaving the tour at all stops so itcwas difficult to form friendships. I finished my tour in Paris and as the bus was continuing on I had to find my own way back to my accommodation which was over 1 hour away by train. Spent a long time on buses and not enough time at our stops.Show more

  Most likely we will not tour with your organization again after 3 tours with you. Although the guides were fine, the trip itself was subject to change daily from the trip we felt we were going to receive. We were not updated until 1-2 days before we arrived on June 13, 2022. Because our plane arrived 20-30 minutes late, they explained that is why we were not picked up, even though we had a transfer included. We had an escort from the plane to the terminal which took all of 14 minutes. They were supposed to wait up to an hour but never showed. We had a WhatsApp number for an emergency that was invalid. Everything was closed at the airport, including information. We had to call home and have someone in the states determine the hotel we were at that night because 3 were listed. The whole trip changed from the printout 2 weeks when we left on May 29, 2022. We had to pay for the internet just to get in touch with you and the partner. We had different guides every day but 3 of the days. This trip was poorly planned. This trip caters to add-ons and if you want to stay longer in certain cities. We knew nothing about this from you. It caters to Spanish speakers. We had left the country on May 29, 2022, so everything after that we did not know. We feel like this trip should be refunded in its entirety of at least a portion.Show more

  Two of our six dining opportunities were at truck stops with less than ideal setting options. Ibis hotel room was run down and dirty. No direction or help when we were on our own on how to make the best use of time, eat etc. We were at the back of the bus and there were two other tour busses there. By the time we got off the bus our group was long gone and Rachel never waited for us. Thus we missed the meeting point and time info. Easily could have been a disaster. Two other times people were left behind or we had to wait a long time for them. This was the most unguided and unprofessional guided tour I've been on. Wont use this tour group again. Doesn't compare to Globus experience we received.Show more

We have talked to both the guides to bring it to their attention so that these kind of things won´t occur again. In Köln, guide informed the entire group that in Amsterdam, the hotel does not have a restaurant and there is nothing around hence she recommended to buy something in Köln or afterwards at another stop on the way to Amsterdam. Normally after the entire day outside, people want to return to hotel not too late but if someone wants to stay in the city centre and return later, they can take a taxi or any other public transport to the hotel. Regarding , our guides, we want to inform you that we have more than 300 guides with different profile and normally ,we don´t get complaint about your guide Rakel and she has quite good rating (4.22 out of 5). We always ask our passengers to fill the online feedback form after finishing the tour in which they can evaluate all the services during their tour whether it´s about hotels, coach, itinerary or about our guides and we get the rating from it as it helps us to improve the quality of our product as well as the provision of services to our valuable passengers. Regarding your feedback about hotel Ibis, we have taken note and inform our contracting department to do the follow-up.   Europamundo was good and the guides knew their information pretty well. Since they are based out of Spain, the guides' first language is not English and even those accustomed to understanding an accent have to pay attention. Our meeting times changed a few times from the itinerary, which they gave ample notice of, but perhaps a group text or reminder on some of these may have helped, as the hotel hosting us were not 'in the know' on what was going on many times when asked. For the amount of time we spent on the coaches, we felt you should have an onboard restroom available, not indicating 'only for emergency' or strongly discouraging its use. Overall, it was a good experience - please work on getting children on same floor in hotel or near parent room, as we had to shuffle rooms more than once in our trip. Lastly, if you are going to schedule a tour over Xmas as we had, the company should be more aware of what will and won't be open over the holiday. The guides worked very cohesively together.Show more
