Itinerary
- Day 1
Bologna
You'll arrive in Bologna and check into your hotel, with a private transfer available if needed. This evening, join a small group cooking class where you'll make fresh spinach lasagna from scratch, learning to knead and roll the pasta, prepare creamy béchamel, and layer it with slow-cooked Bolognese ragù. You'll also make homemade gelato in one or two seasonal flavors. After your handmade meal with local wine, mortadella, and regional ham, you'll get a cookbook with all the recipes plus Italian classics.

Then you'll visit the Archiginnasio, once home to one of the world's oldest universities, and tour the 17th-century Anatomical Theatre where medical demonstrations took place. After that, climb the Clock Tower at your own pace for panoramic views of the city.
