- Day 1
Arrival in Arusha
You'll arrive at Arusha Airport where a Professional Safari Africa representative meets you. From there, it's a drive to Mtoni River Lodge in Arusha, where you'll check in and get ready for the safari adventure starting tomorrow.

Tarangire National Park to Ngorongoro Highlands
The early start happens at 6:30am heading into Tarangire National Park. You'll see large elephant herds, baobab trees, giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, lions, and leopards throughout the day. The Tarangire River keeps wildlife coming during the dry season. Later in the afternoon, you'll drive to the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park
Breakfast comes at 6:30am before you descend into Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll have time to look for the Big Five, black rhinos, wildebeest, zebras, caracals, buffalo, and hippos. At Ngoitoktok scenic picnic site, you'll have a packed lunch. After that, you head to Serengeti National Park and stay overnight at Embalakai Camp.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Highlands
At 6:30am, breakfast happens at camp before a game drive through Serengeti, Tanzania's oldest national park. You'll see the Great Migration with massive herds of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope. Lunch is a picnic during the drive. Then you journey through Ngorongoro Conservation Area back to the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park to Zanzibar
Starting with breakfast at 6:30am, you'll take a short drive to Lake Manyara National Park between the lake and the Great Rift Valley. Baboon troops, elephant herds, and rare tree-climbing lions are all there to see. You'll have a packed lunch at a scenic spot. After lunch, you return to Arusha to fly to Zanzibar, then transfer to Marumaru Hotel in Stone Town.

Stone Town to Nungwi
After breakfast, you walk through the winding streets of Stone Town before heading to Nungwi, Zanzibar's northernmost beach. The coral sands are white and the waters are clear for swimming and snorkeling. You can fish for kingfish, dorado, yellowfin tuna, or striped marlin if that interests you. Other options include local tours, sunset sailing, underwater exploration, or parasailing. You'll stay two nights at Nungwi Dreams resort.
