- Day 1
Seoul
You'll arrive in Seoul and have the day to settle in at your own pace. At 6 pm, meet up with your CEO for an orientation walk along Cheonggyecheon Stream, where you'll pass small waterfalls and cross overhead bridges. From there, head into Myeongdong to check out the bustling shopping district and sample street food. An optional group dinner wraps up your first evening.

Seoul
A private bus takes you around Seoul to see how the city blends modern skyscrapers with Buddhist temples. You'll stop at Gyeongbokgung Palace and the National Folklore Museum, then walk through Bukchon Hanok Village with its traditional houses and check out Insadong Alley. Later, you can catch a show, visit a museum, or explore street markets where you'll find local specialties like bibimbap, soondae, and kimchi.

Seoul to Gyeongju-si
After breakfast, board a high-speed bullet train through the countryside heading to Gyeongju, an old Korean capital. You'll arrive at a local temple for an overnight stay where you'll learn temple etiquette, watch a monk martial arts performance, and participate in morning prayer rituals. Dinner is a traditional temple meal, and you'll sleep in Ondol rooms heated from below, with sleeping areas separated by gender.

- Day 4
Gyeongju-si
Start your morning with meditation, martial arts practice, and a drum and bell ritual. Then explore Gyeongju through a city tour, visiting Bulguksa Temple on Mount Toham's slopes to see stone pagodas and gilt-bronze Buddha statues. You'll also stop at Cheomseongdae Observatory, Asia's oldest surviving astronomical structure, and walk around the Royal Tombs area.

Gyeongju-si to Busan
Take a bus to Busan with a day trip to Yangdong Folk Village, a 500-year-old UNESCO site showing early Joseon Dynasty life. You'll visit the 14th century Haedong Yonggungsa Temple set into seaside rocks, then check into your Busan hotel. An orientation walk takes you along Haeundae Beach and Dongbaek Island. Later, you can opt for a spa session or karaoke to wind down.

Busan to Seoul
Explore Busan's Jagalchi fish market and Gukjesijang market, then head to Yongdusan Park and Gamcheon Culture Village with its colorful buildings. After that, hop on the bullet train back to Seoul. Once there, visit Namdaemun Market, Korea's oldest traditional marketplace, then ride a cable car up to N Seoul Tower. You can visit the observation deck or spend the rest of your time at Banpo Bridge, the floating islands, or the Gangnam district.

Seoul
Head to the Demilitarized Zone separating North and South Korea, a Cold War remnant from 1953 that stretches 250 km with a 4 km buffer zone. This minimal development has let nature thrive there. You'll spend 3 to 4 hours exploring, then visit The War Memorial of Korea before returning to Seoul for the evening. Optional activities include Samsung Leeum Contemporary Gallery, a walk through Itaewon, or a pre-booked kimchi making class and Hanbok experience.

Seoul to Osaka
You'll depart Seoul and arrive in Osaka, Japan. The day is yours to rest or explore on your own with no scheduled activities. In the evening, join your CEO and group for a Japan Welcome Meeting to kick things off.

- Day 9
Osaka to Kōyasan
Travel to Mt Koya, the center of Buddhism in Japan founded in 816 by Buddhist monk Kobo Daishi. A scenic train ride takes you up the mountain, then you'll switch to a funicular for the steep final section before boarding a bus to reach the monastery. You'll sleep in the temple overnight and have shojin ryori, traditional Buddhist vegetarian cuisine, for dinner. Later, relax in a yukata or kimono.

Kōyasan to Hiroshima

Hiroshima

Hakone to Tokyo
Head to Tokyo and arrive before noon with time to explore this energetic city and do some last-minute shopping. Alternatively, just stroll the streets and find pockets of traditional life tucked under the modern surface.
