Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu to Chitwan
You'll drive from Kathmandu along the Muglin Highway toward Chitwan National Park, taking in views of countryside and terraced rice fields as you go. Once you arrive and check in at the Wildlife Resort inside the park, you'll meet the naturalists who'll be guiding you. After getting settled, head out on an elephant safari in the late afternoon. This is when you have good chances of spotting Royal Bengal Tigers, sloth bears, and various birds from the park's 400+ species. Dinner happens by the campfire, so you can wind down after your first day of wildlife watching.

- Day 2
Chitwan
Start early with tea or coffee, then get out on either an elephant ride or a jungle walk, timing it when animals are most active. You'll be out for about 2-3 hours before heading back to camp for breakfast. In late morning, visit the elephant stables to see how they work and watch them bathe. The afternoon is yours to rest or spend time in the resort library. Later, pick from guided nature walks, bird watching, canoe rides, or Land Rover jungle drives depending on what interests you. The evening brings relaxation with drinks and stories from your guides.

Chitwan to Kathmandu
After breakfast, you'll depart Chitwan by private tourist van and head back to Kathmandu, or you can fly if that works better for you. Once you reach Kathmandu, settle into your hotel for the evening and relax after your time in the park.
