    If you'd prefer to arrive the day before and leave the day after your tour, you are welcome to do so. Once you have a confirmed booking, we'll provide you with your hotel information and you can make the necessary arrangements. Unfortunately we cannot assist with booking pre and post accommodation but I'd be happy to share links to our partners at Booking.com to assist you wit the booking process.
    
    This tour starts and ends in Copenhagen which makes booking your round trip flights a lot easier.

    The list of Hotels booked for your Tour will be included in the Tour Program which is sent along the Tour Leader Announcement email around 10-15 Days before the tour starts. Your arrival on September 7, 2025 is noted and the Tour Leader's Contact Information is included in the Tour Leader Announcement Email, and I would advise to contact the Tour Leader when you arrive, so that you will know whether you can catch up with the group within the City or head to the Hotel directly.

    The Max Capacity for our Tours is 48 Pax per group and the bookings for October for this tour usually runs up to the Max Number or mostly 40 Pax and above. The Single Supplement for this tour is offered at an additional 2,815 CAD on top of the tour cost.

    The Locations visited on this tour are not the usual Locations where tourists visit to view the Northern Lights, but we cannot fully omit the possibility that they may make a rare appearance in the night sky whilst on this tour but that has no guarantees. The Single Supplement Upgrade for this tour is offered at an additional 2,155 USD on top of the Package Price.

    Travelers over 75 years old are welcome to join our tours, including those who are 80. However, it's important to note that our itineraries can include long days, walking tours (sometimes on uneven ground), and steps or stairs at certain accommodations. As such, all travelers must be fit and mobile enough to manage independently, without assistance from the Tour Leader or fellow passengers.

    Most optional excursions for this tour are booked directly during the trip, with only a few labeled as 'pre-book' being available in advance. Currently, only two excursions can be pre-booked: Viking Village and Norwegian Fjords Cruise, and Stockholm - Helsinki Overnight Ferry Dinner.

    It's possible to visit the ABBA Museum during your free day in Stockholm (Day 9 of the tour). This visit would be on your own arrangement - you'll need to secure your own entry tickets and make your way there independently. Ask your Tour Leader for suggestions on how to get there.

  As both of are seniors, please advise again. Since it's still more than 8 months before the trip me & my wife are planning to book & go (Ultimate Scandinavia and the Baltics 21 Days 14 June 2025 ~ 4 July 2025), I would like to know if I already book this journey, will there be flexibility of changing (subject to availability) the journey date or it is fixed with no changes whatsoever.

    If booking for a tour within this year, there is a possibility that the seats might be sold out after you book your flights. However, seeing that your interested departure is late 2025, you can choose to secure your flights first if you like.

    Since I will be booking my flight to Copenhagen two ways, I would like to confirm that the departure & end date is already fixed 100% (14 June ~ 4 July for 2025) & there will not be any changes until the journey. The normal hotel pickup point at Copenhagen. We are 2 seniors so we would like to plan very early possibly 6 months ahead. I heard that Expat Explore will only notify hotel pickup point normally 90 days before the departure. Please just give normal hotel pickup point as of now or at least the area if naming the hotel not possible right now. Hoping the pickup point will be walkable from the metro station in Copenhagen.

    Yes, you definitely can request for tour changes or date changes for a confirmed booking. As long as the request to change is sent at least 76 Days (for standard coach tours) or 91 Days (for tours that has internal flights or cruises included) then the tour change will not result to any fees. What will happen is that your booking will then be changed to the new tour and the cost is also going to be based on the current website price (at the time of request) of the new tour, but your payments will still be applied.
