Luxor
A representative will meet you at Luxor Airport, railway station, or hotel and take you by A/C van to your 5-star Nile cruise. After checking in, you'll have lunch on board. The afternoon is yours to relax, though you can pay extra for options like the Sound and Light show or a city tour if you're interested.

- Day 2
West Bank - Edfu
After breakfast, you'll drive to the West Bank to see the Theban Necropolis and spend time in the Valley of the Kings, where New Kingdom pharaohs carved their tombs into the rock. Your Egyptology guide will take you to Queen Hatshepsut's Mortuary Temple at El Deir El Bahari and explain the history before you stop for photos at the Colossal Statues of Memnon. You'll be back on the cruise for lunch, and the afternoon has you sailing down the Nile with tea on the sundeck. The boat crosses Esna Lock and stays overnight in Edfu.

- Day 3
Kom Ombo - Aswan
Breakfast comes first, then you'll take a horse carriage with your guide to visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu, which is the most complete Egyptian temple still standing. Back on the cruise, you can relax on deck while sailing to Kom Ombo, where lunch is served. Afternoon tea follows on the sundeck. Later, you'll visit the unusual double Temple of Sobek and Horus at Kom Ombo before returning for dinner and a folkloric show. The boat continues to Aswan for the night.

- Day 4
Aswan
Following breakfast, you'll explore Aswan with your guide, starting at the High Dam built in 1960 to control flooding and produce electricity. A small motorboat takes you to the Graeco-Roman Temple of Isis, which UNESCO moved to its current spot to protect it after the dam created Lake Nasser. You have time to walk around the temple and its surroundings. Back on board for lunch, the afternoon is free. Dinner comes later, followed by a Nubian show, with an overnight stay in Aswan.

- Day 5
Abu Simbel - Aswan
Around 4:00-4:30 am, you'll pick up a breakfast box and head out on a group bus or minibus with your guide for the trip to Abu Simbel. The drive takes about 3-4 hours to reach one of Egypt's most significant sites: the rock-cut temples carved for King Ramesses II and Queen Nefertari. After touring, you'll drive back to Aswan, arriving around 2:30 pm for lunch and a free afternoon.

- Day 6
Edfu
The morning is free to do as you like, and there's an optional tour to a Nubian Village if you're interested. The cruise sets off around 2:00-2:30 pm, and you can watch the Nile Valley and authentic Egyptian life from the deck as the boat sails back toward Luxor. Tea time happens on the sundeck while passing Kom Ombo, where some other guests boarding from Aswan might visit the temple. The cruise continues to Edfu for the night.

Luxor
Some travelers may stop at Edfu temple this morning. The cruise continues sailing to Esna and passes through Esna Lock. Tea time on the sundeck happens while sailing to Luxor. The boat arrives at the Luxor dock late in the afternoon. Your evening is free, but you can pay extra to add the Sound and Light show at Karnak or take a horse carriage tour through Luxor's old market if you want.

- Day 8
Luxor
After breakfast, you'll check out at 8 am and head to Karnak temple, the largest temple ever built with construction spanning over 2,000 years and covering about 63 acres. Your Egyptology guide shares stories about the Great Hypostyle Hall with its enormous columns and obelisks. Next, you'll go to Luxor temple, which shows ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic influences with its obelisk and statues. From there, a transfer takes you to your destination (airport, train station, or hotel on the East Bank).
