We have developed a regular tour operation that allows travelers to explore Portugal covering several regions of the country and we focus on small groups of up to 8 participants, ensuring a more exclusive and comfortable environment. One of our core pillars is sustainability: we support the local economy by working with small producers, local businesses, and artisans, our experiences allow time to enjoy each destination at a relaxed pace while taking part in personalized activities Our team of driver-guides is carefully selected, combining in-depth tourism knowledge with strong interpersonal skills. Although they are not official tour guides and therefore do not accompany guests inside monuments, they have solid knowledge of the destinations and provide valuable information and assistance throughout the journey, ensuring a comfortable and enriching experience. For this specific tour - Unmissable Portugal, Colors & Flavours of Alentejo, the accommodation will be in Lisbon, Fátima, Douro, Porto, and Évora.

I wish to join this group tour. I am able to fly from Verona Italy to Lisbon on 16 May 2026 arriving 4.30pm. Are u operating this tour on or after this date. I am a mature Australian traveller hoping u will be able to offer me an in-depth tour of Portugal ideally I would like to spend 11/15 days, also interested in visiting the island of Madeira.

Our regular tour 'Unmissable Portugal – Colours and Flavours of Alentejo' (13 days) is an excellent option to discover the best of mainland Portugal. However, we do not yet have the minimum number of participants for the 6 February 2026 departure, nor for the three regular departures in May (1, 15, and 29 May 2026). We could check the price for one person (single occupancy) on a private tour. We do not currently operate regular tours to Madeira Island.

Can you accept a solo traveler?

We can accept a solo traveler for the December 12 departure, but we will have to apply a supplement of €1,300 (whether in the bronze or silver category) because we do not have any other passengers on that regular departure date.

What are the optional tours for Day 3? It does not look like we will have enough time in Sintra on Day 2 and we are thinking about going back there on Day 3. Will there be a longer tour of Sintra available or should we just plan to take the train?

For the 3rd day of your tour, we have the option of doing a private or regular tour of Sintra: • 225€ per person - Private Full Day to Sintra (duration 8h): includes transportation in a private car, visit to the Pena Palace and another monument of your choice, between Quinta da Regaleira or Monserrate Palace, and pickup and drop-off at the hotel. • 140€ per person - Full Day to Sintra, Cabo da Roca and Cascais on a regular basis (8 hours): includes shared transportation by bus and a visit to the Pena Palace. Does not include hotel pick-up or drop-off, so you will have to travel by your own to the meeting point.

How much would it cost to add one night at the LIS hotel before the tour begins? The would be the night of Mar 5 with early check in, with airport transfer. We would like access to the room upon arrival.

Are there optional tours that could be added and if so, what would be the cost? For example visiting a cheese farm or a cooking class? We and another couple are interested in making this a very food centric tour.

Are two single beds available?

On our regular departures, the type of bed (double or twin beds) is always subject to availability at the time of check-in. However, we can usually request tour hotels to allocate 2 separate beds. Customers will only have to confirm upon arrival at the hotel if the specific type of room has indeed been allocated. Hotel rooms are usually available from 3 p.m onwards. If the client wishes to guarantee the room before this time, we recommend purchasing an extra night when making the reservation.

Looking at UNMISSABLE PORTUGAL 13 day tour. Does not say what Hotels you stay at and the star rating. Can they please advise.

We have 2 different types of accommodation on our tours - Silver and Bronze Series. Silver Hotels are 4 star hotels including Hotel Olissipo Saldanha, Vila Galé Opera, Hotel Marquês de Pombal in Lisbon. Bronze Hotels are 3/4 star hotels including Hotel Olissipo Marques de Sá, Vila Galé Opera, Fénix Music in Lisbon.

Yes it is possible to combine these two tours - Unmissable Portugal, Coulors And Flavours Of Alentejo + Algarve. Regular Departure Dates for Unmissable Portugal, Coulors And Flavours Of Alentejo are: 02, 16 and 23 May 2025. Prices per person: Tour PT 142 - Unmissable Portugal, Coulors And Flavours Of Alentejo (13 days): Bronze Category: 2.724€ + 80€ Tax Fuel. Silver Category: 2.943€ + 80€ Tax Fuel. Tour Algarve (4 days): Bronze Category: 1.771€. Silver Category: 1.880€. These prices refer only to Land Arrangements, as we do not book air tickets.

How do you get from location to location? Do you need to carry your own luggage? How much luggage do you get to bring?

Our english speaking driver picks and drops you off at the hotel in a sedan. Usually the driver always helps customers carry their bags to the hotel entrance and to the car. Regarding the luggage, each passenger is entitled to carry one medium-sized piece of luggage weighing a maximum of 23 kg. Extra luggage is subject to the space available in the vehicle. If there is no capacity for extra luggage, the passenger will have to leave part of their luggage or pay for additional transportation.

Our drive/guide Carlos was the fantastic. He was amazing driving all the narrow streets. We have been on several small tour and Carlos was the best we have had. He was knowledgeable and passionate about his country and it's history. He explained all the towns and regions we visited. We got a very good feel for the country and its different regions.   I will arrive in Portugal on 16 May 26. The tour finished in Verona on that day. I can fly into Lisbon on Ryan Air arriving at 4.30pm. I wish to join the tour on that day - due to my late arrival, I would like to propose I remain in Lisbon at the end of the tour, at which time I could see any of the areas I missed by being late if this is acceptable to the tour operator.

  Since you will only arrive in Portugal on May 16, you would miss the night of May 15 and the full-day tour Lisbon – Sintra – Cabo da Roca – Cascais – Estoril scheduled for May 16. We can add an extra night at the end of the tour at no additional cost. The tour would end on May 28 instead of May 27. The Lisbon – Sintra – Cabo da Roca – Cascais – Estoril day can be replaced by a regular coach tour to Sintra and Cascais, including ticket to one of the palaces in Sintra, also at no additional cost. However, since we do not yet have the minimum number of participants, we would need to apply a supplement of €1,300 to confirm the booking in a single room.

What are the optional tours for Day 3? It does not look like we will have enough time in Sintra on Day 2 and we are thinking about going back there on Day 3. Will there be a longer tour of Sintra available or should we just plan to take the train?

  For the 3rd day of your tour, we have the option of doing a private or regular tour of Sintra: • 225€ per person - Private Full Day to Sintra (duration 8h): includes transportation in a private car, visit to the Pena Palace and another monument of your choice, between Quinta da Regaleira or Monserrate Palace, and pickup and drop-off at the hotel. • 140€ per person - Full Day to Sintra, Cabo da Roca and Cascais on a regular basis (8 hours): includes shared transportation by bus and a visit to the Pena Palace. Does not include hotel pick-up or drop-off, so you will have to travel by your own to the meeting point.

  On our regular departures, the type of bed (double or twin beds) is always subject to availability at the time of check-in. However, we can usually request tour hotels to allocate 2 separate beds. Customers will only have to confirm upon arrival at the hotel if the specific type of room has indeed been allocated. Hotel rooms are usually available from 3 p.m onwards. If the client wishes to guarantee the room before this time, we recommend purchasing an extra night when making the reservation.

  Our english speaking driver picks and drops you off at the hotel in a sedan. Usually the driver always helps customers carry their bags to the hotel entrance and to the car. Regarding the luggage, each passenger is entitled to carry one medium-sized piece of luggage weighing a maximum of 23 kg. Extra luggage is subject to the space available in the vehicle. If there is no capacity for extra luggage, the passenger will have to leave part of their luggage or pay for additional transportation.
