Hi Rosanne, you completed 7 of 8 trekking days: 5 in Torres del Paine, 1 in El Chaltén, and 1 in El Calafate. Minor adjustments were made due to winter conditions and your fatigue, prioritizing your health, safety, and ability to complete the trek. Thanks for joining us; we hope you enjoyed the route. Best regards from the Tour Radar & Unu Raymi Expeditions team.

We're delighted you enjoyed the private trekking & 4* logistics with our team in Torres del Paine, though unfortunately, your overall review comes as no great surprise because of your unwillingness to collaborate with us and your insistence on quibbling over everything. In the end, you decided to cancel the last leg of your trip at short notice because local holidays in Chile were impacting your trip (as a recommendation by your friends in Santiago, Chile). However, we provided several alternatives for you, none deemed suitable. We were looking after you every step of the way so you were not alone and stranded as you claimed. We've always been professional, but sadly you wanted to make everything personal.

    Asked on June 4th, 2024

Just wondering what version of this tour is available for month of June? As almost winter, what is actually possible? and does it cost the same for single traveler?

    Single supplement
    Tour Details
    • Unu Raymi ExpeditionsOperatorWritten June 2024

We're only running groups of 4 minimum during winter due to the complexity of the logistics this season. We don't have any groups currently available for June unfortunately, if you can wait, I would strongly recommend you come to Patagonia from September onwards, you'll find it considerably better trekking then.

    • B

      Belinda

      TravelerWritten June 2024

Thanks, yes does sound better after September! But please do let me know about July? I assume you need a lot more winter clothes than from September onwards and it would be more technical?

    • Unu Raymi ExpeditionsOperatorWritten June 2024

It will be less cold during high-season, though you will need good clothing as it can be windy/rainy during most months in Patagonia. The trek isn't very technical itself, it's quite undulating but relatively flat overall. It's a great trek though, the main challenges being the distances involved.
