Hi, thanks for your comments. We've responded quickly to this query; your tour was completed with our guide as agreed, the other travelers in your group were issued a refund on the very same day. We provided the agreed tour for all 3 of you, and you went with our guide for the whole trek; however, there was a failure on the part of the travelers mentioned to pay the correct amount for the tour requested and both parties agreed to abort in accordance with our terms and conditions. We're delighted you enjoyed the logistics & team we delivered for your trek :) The trek experience is part of the trip planning process as we recruit all of our team and manage all of our route logistics (equipment, expedition food, crew, reservations, transport etc.), so we're very pleased with the 5* marks you have given to our team and that you enjoyed your experience & trek. We upgraded your trek to ensure a smoother and more comfortable experience for you both, there are very few operators in Patagonia who can do this. There was never any insinuation about inflexibility; as we accomplished the trek route as planned, though there was an upgrade to the accommodation & a relatively small route alteration overall to incorporate that, which in large part was enforced due to Park Regulations & Commercial management of the accommodations this season. Regarding the estancia, unfortunately the day was reduced due to demand for the activity which is a result of rising demand in Patagonia this season, we apologize for the inconvenience but there was little we could do to manage this as it was an outsourced operator running this. We always use our travelers feedback to improve our service where possible and we will continue to upgrade our trek logistics as required to manage our trek routes.
