Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu to Pokhara
You'll travel 200 km from Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist bus, which takes about 6-7 hours. The route passes through terraced rice fields and river valleys with views of Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Lamjung Himal, and the Annapurna Range. The bus stops for breakfast around 09:00 am and lunch near midday, so you'll have time to stretch and grab food along the way.

Pokhara to Tikhedhunga
After arriving in Pokhara, you'll drive to Nayapul by car or van in about 1.5 hours, then start trekking. The first walk is easy and takes 2-3 hours down to Tikhedhunga. You'll go through Birethanti and Ramghai, walking alongside the Burundi Khola river the whole way before reaching your lodge for the night.

Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani
This is a longer day on the trail. After a hot breakfast at 08:00 am, you'll trek for 6-7 hours to reach Ghorepani at 2800 meters. The morning involves steep stone staircases up to Ulleri for roughly 1.5 hours, which is the hardest part. Then you'll have lunch at Banthanti before the path winds through rhododendron and oak forests. You'll arrive at Ghorepani in the evening to overnight.

Poon Hill - Tadapani
You'll get up early and hike about 45 minutes to Poon Hill at 3210 meters to catch the sunrise with Himalayan views spreading out in all directions. After breakfast following the sunrise, you'll trek to Tadapani at 2540 meters for the night. The descent takes several hours through changing terrain.

Tadapani to Chhomrung
Trekking takes 4-5 hours from Tadapani as you descend through forest with bird calls around you. The path steepens as it goes through terraced fields down to Kimrung Khola, where you'll cross a suspension bridge and continue to Gurjung. From there, the trail climbs for about 45 minutes to Chhomrung at 2170 meters, your stopping point for the night.

Chhomrung to Himalaya Hotel
You'll trek through quiet jungle at higher elevation, then start a steep descent using thousands of stone staircases down 310 meters. After crossing Chhomrung Khola bridge, the trail climbs to Sinuwa at 2340 meters. From there, you'll continue through rhododendron forests with orchids and ferns before a steep drop using more stone staircases to Bamboo. You'll stay at Himalaya Hotel overnight.

Landmarks Sinuwa Bamboo Dovan - Day 7
Dovan to Annapurna Base Camp
Today takes 5-6 hours to reach Annapurna Base Camp. Past Deurali, the valley opens up and becomes less steep. You'll pass through an area where avalanches have occurred, so proceed carefully to safe ground. As elevation increases, the white mountains come into view. After passing Machhapuchhre Base Camp, the trail turns left into the valley for a more pleasant walk as the air thins. You'll see incredible 360-degree views of Annapurna, Annapurna South, and Machhapuchhre at the Base Camp. You'll stay overnight at the lodge.

Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo
Morning starts with mountain views and hot tea or coffee before a hearty breakfast. You'll trek down from Annapurna Base Camp to Dovan or Bamboo, retracing through Machhapuchhre Base Camp, Deurali, and Himalaya. You'll take breaks for tea and lunch before settling in at a lodge for the night.

Chhomrung - Jhinu Hot Springs
From Bamboo, you'll walk uphill about 30 minutes through jungle to Sinuwa, then head down to Chhomrung Khola and climb a long stone staircase to upper Chhomrung. After a steep descent to Jhinu, you'll book a room and have lunch. Later, walk down about 20 minutes to natural hot springs, soak in the warm water, then return to the lodge for the night.

Jhinu to Pokhara
After breakfast, you'll trek 4-5 hours to Nayapul via Birethanti, then drive by private car or van back to Pokhara. You'll finish your trip staying in a hostel or hotel in Pokhara to recover from the trek.
