Websites says "Multiple room types available. Choose your preferred room type when you book" a. what does this mean? b. Is this referring to the Standard vs the Superior packages? c. What is the difference between these two? d. Are all prices twin share – is that what "double room" means? e. Is Single Supplement available and if so at what cost? 6. What is the type of vehicle used? Is it coach or + minivan + or minibus? Do all of the vehicles used have seat belts? 7. Does the Tour Operator, Choose Balkans, have registration with the government?

1. On this particular tour, we do not visit Budva. As you can see on the map, the blue line showing our route travels from Mostar to Kotor to Dubrovnik. 2. Journey times: a. Dubrovnik to Mostar - Approximately 2 hours b. Mostar to Sarajevo - Approximately 2 hours c. Mostar to Kotor - Approximately 1 hour, 40min d. Mostar to Montenegrin Riviera - as above, 1 hour 40min as Kotor is amongst the Riviera 3. Prices for solo travelers over September 2024 dates are 1,805 Euro based on a single private room. 4. BB refers to 'bed and breakfast' meaning you will have accommodation and breakfast included for all overnights in 3 star hotels 5. Multiple room types mean different bed configurations for travelers. We have option of upgrading to 4 star hotels. Twin share means room with space for two people. Single Supplement is available at 1,805 Euro for a solo traveler with private single room. 6. We use tourism standard vehicles, adjusting to group size - car or mini van. All vehicles have seatbelts. 7. We are a professional, registered company with certified tour leaders.

The tour company Choose Balkans was always responsive throughout the booking process and during the tour. Sirma was our main contact and she was delightful to deal with. Our tour guide, Eraldo, was fantastic. He was easy to get along with, informative, honest, and a man with a lot of integrity. We were always well looked after, and you know you will be in safe hands if he was your tour guide. The only downside was, we upgraded to 4-star hotels, but one hotel in capital city was 3-star at best and had moulds and was dirty, so Sirma moved us to a proper 4-star hotel for the next night. The final night stay at Mostar was a 3-star property - they did not even service our room properly and left the bathroom floor wet, shower drain full of hair, and bedroom carpet just generally dirty with the bottom of our indoor slippers going black. Also at Ohird, the hotel there was also only 3-star. At The Adler Hotel, Prizren, that was also 3-star, it was so poorly maintained that the hairdryer was hanging off the wall by the live wire over the sink, the floor skirting board was dislodged from the wall with nails exposed, they did not service our room and blamed us for not giving them permission to enter the room, but another fellow traveller got her room serviced, without permission given! I would recommend the tour and our excellent tour guide, Eraldo, but the hotel upgrade to 4-star by Choose Balkans need more improvements.Show more

I travelled solo on a 14 day Balkans tour from Athens to Dubrovnik. There were 3 other people on my tour as well. Whilst we had 2 hotels that weren't what I'd call 4 star, teh rest were generally great. The best thing about our tour was the guide. Eraldo was calm, thoughtful, and quietly attentive to everyone’s needs. Nothing ever felt rushed or scripted — he guided with a sense of integrity and genuine care that’s rare in most countries. He shared his country honestly and respectfully, and created an atmosphere where people felt comfortable, safe, and well looked after. I would travel with him again in a heartbeat.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 13th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 13th, 2026, a minimum payment of 50% is required to confirm your booking with Choose Balkans. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 67 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
